This hotel is very nice. It is located in Cambridge and is under $200 a night, which is a bargain in Boston area. Plus the parking is FREE. That is a huge plus in Boston. We stayed for two nights and we were so happy that we didn't have to drive in this crazy city. From this hotel, the bus is right out back and we took it to Harvard Square (we walked the first day as it's about a mile). Then we bought a MTA pass for $18 (good for 7 days) and we could use it for any bus or train. We hopped on the RED LINE and went to Boston and did a ton of sightseeing. It was so convenient and fun. The hotel has a refridge and micro in the room and a coffee maker too. Old TV's but not a bad watch. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the green park across the street. It was clean and quiet. No complimentary breakfast, but a full service restaurant that serves american breakfast in the lobby and it is a chinese restaurant other than that. I would so stay here again.

Room Tip: Loved the top floor overlooking the park. Feels very private.

If you have a meeting at Harvard Business School, this hotel is well located but, otherwise, it is in the middle of nowhere. On arrival you are hit by the smell of food from the attached Chinese restaurant, which is distinctly unappetising. Then its motel quality all the way, with a general demeanour of grubbiness. Way too expensive for what I paid. Overpriced at any price.

On our current journey from Australia to the US and Canada we had great stays in Vancouver and Montreal. We continued our travels and drove down from Montreal to Boston. I had booked to stay in this hotel..god knows what I was thinking.
We arrived around 1pm and asked if there was a room ready...no big deal if not as we were early.
This rude woman at reception pointed at the clock and said "3'oclock".

Then she turned to another person behind the counter and said to her "People obviously cant read". The alarm bells were ringing trust me.

We wandered off and came back at check in time where we were met with another woman who spoke in single syllables....Could not raise a smile or any remote sign of warmth from this person clearly in the wrong occupation.

I had asked when I made the booking that I wished to be away from stairs or elevators.Well our room was directly opposite the elevator!! My wife and myself have travelled the world for many years and have been to the US before and choose not to make a fuss. We like to get out and about and as long as the room is clean and the people friendly we make do.

This room was like the rest of the hotel...quite dilapidated and in need of a serious renovation. The bar floor is made of timber and when you walk on it your feet stick to the floor.

My wife rang reception for a couple extra pillows and an hour later we rang again and the cheery woman at reception grunted and sent them up. When they arrived it was clear these pillows were unclean and had been collected from a newly departed guests room.

My wife took them down to reception and the same woman said "That's all we have". At $225 US a night you don't get the Ritz, but my dogs boarding kennels were cleaner.

As I say I have stayed in places in many countries and all over the USA..but this takes the cake.

We were booked for 5 days but we checked out the next day (This morning) We are now at the Revere in downtown Boston which is actually cheaper than the flea pit. Yet this place is a country mile apart...will write a review on this hotel later in our journey.
