Despite hurricane warnings we decided to travel to Boston last weekend, planning to visit our son at BU and family in Newton. We loved the Ritz. Our room was ready when we arrived, and the assistance we received by Caroline, the concierge, was fantastic. I forgot a couple toiletries and she made sure we had them by the time our suitcases were unpacked! Her restaurant suggestions were fantastic. We stayed on the club level and I would highly recommend spending the extra money as we were pampered from morning to night. Our room was spacious, especially the bathroom! Peter, in the club lounge, made great cocktails and when he found out we had to rent a car to drive home (our flight was cancelled) he made up a “goody bag” with chocolate & cupcakes for our ride home. Staff overall were wonderful - never had to wait long for a cab, check out was quick - they seemed genuinely concerned over our travel plans due to the hurricane. Didn't get a chance to dine at the restaurant but we peeked in and the decor was nice and it was busy. We will definitely book the Ritz for our next trip to Boston!
