Last Saturday, Aug. 10th, I took part in the Beacon Hill & Back Bay Boston Foodie Tour. The weather was perfect. I cannot say enough about it. Our tour guide, Audrey was terrific. She knew all the best places to go. We met at the Liberty Hotel (former Charles St. Jail) It was beautiful. We started out with lobster pizza, went for ice cream, chocolate, wine and cheese, chowder, lamb sandwich. Visited the most adorable little shops we would never have found on our own. Went through the Boston Gardens. Everything was in bloom and took home a huge pecan roll. I can't wait to try the North End Tour!!

We were in Boston for just 4 days and were so happy that we did the North End (Little Italy) Tour with Audrey on July 28, 2013. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and took us to some amazing little shops and restaurants in this quaint part of the city. We had samples and actually had enough food by the end of the tour, that we felt like we had eaten an entire meal, if not more!
We had 7 people including Audrey and it was a great group who all appreciate good food and learning about the stories that incorporated the entire neighborhood. I think our whole group would highly recommend this Foodie Tour and we put it at the top of our list of things to do in Boston. Hope to one day get back and do another one of the selected tours. We even got a cannoli treat sent home with us for our evening snack. "A+" Audrey!!

On July 23, 2013 I did the Back Bay Neighbourhood Tour with Audrey as tour guide. It was a hot day with some pretty crazy rain showers, but we managed to have an excellent time and just rolled with the weather. For the foodie, there is good variety and great food. From hot restaurant locations, to food trucks, to the market, to specialty shops, I loved every morsel. For the tourist, this is a great exposure to a portion of Boston. A local tour guide providing commentary as you walk results is an education that is beyond culinary. Boston is a city that is so easily navigated, and the tour start and finish are perfectly near T stops that are easily found. I'd recommend this for a couple, friends touring together, a family with teens (young children may not love all the food and the time may wear them out), or someone visiting on business. If you need to be in Boston alone for some reason, this is a great social activity you can join. I would even recommend it for locals who would like to sample some new places. 4.5 hours well spent. wouldn't change a thing.

My partner and I attended a tour on Aug 3rd and still have not stopped talking about it. We were filled with not only amazing food but also hidden history while walking through the park. It was a beautiful day and all the vendors we went to were welcoming and ready to chat about their products. It was a fun filled day. We couldn't eat dinner we were so full. Thank you for a great experience.

Thank you Audrey for a truly memorable Boston experience. Your Back Bay tour was a highlight of our time in this wonderful city. It was a treat discovering the history of the streets and the delights of fine food along the way from the scrumptious lobster puffs to heavenly cupcakes, the Banh Mi at the food truck, the delights off Bacco and the oysters and chowder to top us off. The farmers market and the other tastings were also a treat. We appreciated the personal attention given with a small group tour and it was wonderful to share in your knowledge and passion for what you do. I can't wait to share this experience with friends back in Australia who hopefully one day will have the same fun we did in Boston with you as their host.
