We've stayed at Nine Zero twice and Kimpton Hotels in Philadelphia and Seattle as well. Even though they are part of a chain each hotel has a distinct personality (although they all have a wine tasting and animal print robes!). Nine Zero is sleek and stylish. The rooms and bathrooms are adequate size and the beds are excellent. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. The location is also perfect for us because it is within easy walkiing distance of the Quincy Market area, the North End and Back Bay. It is also convenient to the major transportation hubs of North Station, South Station and Downtown Crossing.

This is our hotel whenever we are in Boston.

For our visit to Boston we decided to splash out on the Nine Zero, having stayed in a Kimpton Hotel in San Francisco previously. The premier king view room was on the 15th floor, and had great views over the city. The room was clean and in reasonable condition, though an upgrade is probably about due. The room had no coffee maker, which was a surprise, but a quick call to hotel service saw one delivered in minutes. Kimpton pride themselves in service, and if you need anything, just ask, and they always respond quickly. At $500 plus per night it should be good!

Room Tip: We opted for a premier view king room, an were allocated a room on the 15th floor with great views.

This is a very good hotel in a great location! Easy walking distance from all the main downtown locations - right on the Freedom Trail. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel is clean and very nicely decorated. Rooms very good and pretty quiet considering the central location. Our bed was really comfortable although (a queen) a little smaller than some in the US. Would probably have given 5/5 had we not had a slight problem with a breakfast (which was eventually fixed to our satisfaction!) and had the wine (and bizarrely the glasses!) not run out just before the end of the free wine reception [admittedly we got there about 5 mins before the end!]. All in all a super hotel and would definately use it next time in Boston!

A very, very good hotel with great service. Extremely clean everywhere, even elevators and corridors. Spacious rooms, modern style and great bed. I couldn’t believe that rooms are exactly the same as on photos for hotel presentation! No surprises at all. The hotel location cannot be beat as it was central and an easy walk anywhere. Close to sightseeing bus stops also. I will live here again. I recommend it.
