Went here for our 10th wedding anniversary. The staff is very polite, accommodating, and professional. The rooms are very nice and modern. We had a very nice view of Boston from our room.

The concierge, Thomas, was very gracious with recommendations on romantic things to do in the area and arrange reservations.

The location is great, by the 3rd Freedom Trail point of interest. It is right in front of the cemetery where Sam Adams is buried. Walking distance to the Quincy Market, Boston Commons, Public Gardens, bars and restaurant. The metro station is also only about a block away.

Room Tip: The best views are on floors 10th and up.

I stayed at Nine Zero over St. Patrick's Day weekend with a friend who was visiting from out of town (I live north of Boston). Aside from being the perfect home base for us (it's located seconds from the Common and a few more steps from Newbury Street, Faneuil Hall and countless other top attractions), Nine Zero provided Kimpton-caliber service, fun perks and great food. Definitely join Kimpton's InTouch Loyalty Program if you're a frequent visitor; the $10 minibar credit and complimentary Wi-Fi *always* come in handy. We ordered room service twice and both times the staff were cheerful and courteous--and the food was delicious! The overall ambiance is sleek and sophisticated, but everyone who was working when we visited was tremendously kind and not pretentious in the least. It's probably clear by now that I'm a huge Kimpton fan, and Nine Zero just might be my favorite Kimpton yet.

Room Tip: We didn't pay for a view, and thus found ourselves looking straight into an office building, but...

We stayed for 4 nights during our daughter's graduation from Emerson. We have stayed at many of the surrounding hotels and this was by far our best experience of the 4+ years that we have been frequenting Boston. They met our ever need including stain remover, Static Guard and bandaids. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. I recommend becoming a Kimpton In Touch member as they give nice perks such as free internet. No complaints!

What a great little find Nine Zero was, situated in the centre of Boston we couldn't ask for a better hotel,we stayed in Boston for 4 days and the hotel was in a perfect location everything was in waking distance and Boston common was a 5 minute walk away which had a ice skating ring which was on Frog pond and when it snowed it was magical... The hotel rooms were the nicest that we have ever stayed in, and the next hotel which we stay in when we go back to the States will be a Kimpton hotel......

Everything about the hotel was great, loved that IF we had forgotten something, they had us covered. We had a great room and it was so clean and fresh. Great linens and great bed. My husband and I have stayed around the world and will only pick Kimpton when given a choice of one available. As a travel writer, I think that Kimpton properties cover everything and offer guests more than some five star properties I have been at!

We checked into this hotel fairly late on 12th May.
The woman on check in was a bit rude and blunt. I found that a bit disappointing from my first impression of Boston! Careful Nine Zero you should ensure the customers are treated well at all times...
Check in: fast and efficient.
Rooms: large, fabulous views (in our room 705) wonderful large bed, great facilities... loved it! Felt like we had a special room
Location: brilliant, near everything, 10mins from Boston city centre.
Bell hops again were excellent.
Food: we had breakfast once at Nine Zero, food was lovely, although service was a bit slow.
We tried to eat dinner here 1 night and there were 2 guests in the bar, and no one in the restaurant, so we actually gave up and went next door instead!!! shocking! they just missed out on about $150 worth of business but not bothering to man the restaurant. Found the restaurant dark and dingy - people like to see what they are eating. Although found it expensive.
Service: rooms were clean and service was ok other than the woman on our first night.
We left our luggage there for 2 days whilst we went elsewhere to New Hampshire, and we got them back safe and sound. great service.
Check out: easy and painless.
Slept very well.

Room Tip: See if you can get a corner room, you get a bi view then.

Nice hotel in a great location. Free wine hour every evening for guests. Rooms are trendy but not at the expense of comfort. Staff is helpful and friendly. I walked comfortably (in flats) to the Faneuil Hall market, and other major tourist spots.
