I am long overdue in writing this review. I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions while I am in the Boston area. I work in the hotel industry so I know what is to be expected. This hotel does a wonderful job maintaining their property. The staff is always very friendly and accomadating. I would recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work!

We stayed here for a week, and we were very pleased with the hotel.
Positives were:
- Spacious, clean, comfortable room with kitchenette, including fridge, freezer & dishwasher
- Friendly helpful staff
- Lots of parking available
- Located in a nice, quiet, safe area
- Really convenient for TD Gardens if you're going to a Bruins game
- Easy walk to some of the Freedom Trail sites
- Easy to catch a bus into downtown Boston from nearby bus stop, regular service
- Breakfast buffet was good and never seemed to run out, even when really busy (there's cereal, bagels/toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurts, a waffle station and different hot breakfast foods each day. You can take your breakfast back up to your room to eat if you like (we saw a few folks coming down in their PJs to do that)
- There's a good little business centre where you can get online, and print stuff (eg for your flight)
- They have a mini-market in the lobby with groceries and beer etc to take up to your room. They'll also place an order for you at the local food store (a few blocks away) to be delivered to your room

Negatives
- The city's underground trains don't go as far as the hotel, and its a pretty long walk into downtown Boston, so you really need buses or taxis for that
- Breakfast is all served in plastic plates and bowls.
- We didn't notice many restaurants in the local area, and the hotel didn't seem to serve much by way of lunch or dinner

Overall, we highly recommend it.

My Family of five just spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn on Tudor Wharf during a very hectic vacation week. They hotel was crowded with vacation families. I marveled at the front desk people as they are asked the same questions by guests all day long. They take the time to make you feel comfortable while you are visiting the Boston area. Breakfasts here are much better then what you usually get at a Residence Inn. The rooms are very clean. The elevators are fast and spacious. The valet parking is quick. Boston is not an easy town to drive in and if you are OK with walking or public transportation, you should let go of your car. After one day I dropped our car off at the airport and took a cab back ($25.00). Overall, a very good stay!

You can walk to the North End and have a great meal. Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall are nearby. We did the 2 day bus tour and traveled through MIT and Harvard. The buses run frequently and the drivers are loaded with stories about area history. We had a great time and would return in a heartbeat.

It was wonderful to read your review, especially your very last sentence stating that you would return to the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf in a heartbeat! We're always proud when a guest expresses how much they enjoyed their stay and we're truly appreciative of the great detail you've provided for our future guests. It's wonderful that you and your family were able to explore so much during your four-night stay and it was our absolute pleasure to accommodate you. As you pointed out, there are plenty of public transportation options, including the T and the ferry, located right near our hotel so driving is never a requirement when exploring the area! We had a very good room. It had a kitchen and sitting area separate from the bedroom. We had a king sized bed with a small bathroom area. The location is very close to Little Italy--across the bridge and Bunker Hill. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: Get a room with a separate sitting area.

Great property within easy walking distance to downtown Boston and North station. The staff at the property went above and beyond during our stay. Parking was quite easy (we found street parking behind hotel for free). The kids enjoyed having breakfast on the outside tables on the wharf.

We stayed here one night before a scheduled cruise. The hotel was very nice and clean, the employees were all very helpful. The hotel sits right on Tudor Wharf which is very nice, our room faced Boston Gardens and the Cable bridge. The room was very clean and nice. They serve a nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is just about a block from the USS Constitution, and very convenient to the Freedom Trail.

Room Tip: Our room faced the downtown area (Boston Gardens), but would have preferred the harbor view myself...

I stayed here just for one night and needed to be near the waterfront. Upon check-in, the valet was awesome. He helped unload and ridiculous amount of luggage and helped me park. Upon check-out, he helped me load everything again with a smile. The staff at check-in were very nice, and reminded me to enjoy the free food they were offering during the manager's reception.

The room itself was nice though it felt older. The property is very clean. The hairdryer overheated (it seems that all of Marriotts stock hairdryers do). The elevator was quick.

Their breakfast is great- the average Res Inn food, and plenty of it. They had good coffee and tea. There were plenty of places to sit among the many business travelers obviously staying at the property. I had breakfast while looking at the Boston port, listening to the seagulls and watched the tourists walking around.

If you are interested in seeing the U.S.S. Constitution, it is a quick walk from here. They have a great museum and the ship itself is really neat. This property would be a great place to stay for the 4th of July as you would have a great view of the fireworks.

There are a few restaurants on the same side of the bridge as the property though I did not eat at any. The North End is about a 10-15 minute walk from here.

Room Tip: Free parking on the west side of the hotel. It is city-owned and available 24/7.

It must have been wonderful to enjoy the sights and sounds of our city during breakfast! It's always nice when a review mentions how friendly our hotel staff members were during a stay and on behalf of our valet team; I'd like to thank you for sharing your kind comments. Fourth of July is always an exciting time here at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf, as our waterfront view offers our guests a front row seat to the fireworks display. Thank you for sharing your detailed review with us and we hope that we get the pleasure to welcome you back again.
