Needed to be within walking distance of my office and the Sheraton, where they usually put me, was just a tad too far with what I had to carry. THis hotel turned out to be more than I expected! My room was quite spacious considering I was in the heart of Boston!
Front desk staff was always pleasant and the night i got in there was a Samuel Adams tasting so I even had a cold one to ward off the heat of summer! I hope I get sent back to visit the office again soon!

Recently went to Boston to see a Red Sox game and to sightsee. Hotel was in a great location for shopping, eating and jumping on the subway. Was able to walk to Fenway and many resturants. Staff were very helpful and polite. As an added bonus was able to get government discount rate which made it very reasonable compared to other hotels in the same area. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I have stayed in quite a few Boston hotels over the years and this is by far our favorite. The location is perfect -- right in Copley Square next to Newbury Street and the Prudential Center and within two blocks of a T stop. The room was HUGE! It was a normal room but it really felt like a suite because it had so much room, including a large bathroom. It was also really clean. In the afternoon, they had apple cider and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby which was a nice touch. Also, even though it's downtown, I don't recall there being much street noise. We will definitely only be staying at this hotel in the future when we travel to Boston.

The location of this hotel is fine for a business or adult guest, but definitely not for a family or for heavy tourism. There is no pool, and it really did not feel very 'family friendly.' It is still within walking distance to the typical Boston sites, but it's a longer walk. The rooms are very small, but clean. The front desk personnel were often too busy talking among themselves to tend to the guests (at one point there were two waiting). There is no airport transportation, so we had to wait about half an hour for a cab. My travel agent had called ahead and ordered some extra amenities to be delivered to our room, but they never arrived - although her credit card had been charged. If you are in Boston for business, this would be fine, but if your plans are to explore Boston, I would suggest a hotel over on the wharf.

A very average hotel for the price, and relative to the Marriott down the street. I am a Platinum member and they treated me like a second class citizen. Thank goodness I used reward points. I would NEVER pay money to stay here. PS, their fitness center is pathetic: 2 treadmills and a broken stationary bike. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Marriott on Huntington. Much nicer rooms and more amenities like a pool and lots of fitness equipment. Ask for a high floor facing Huntington ave for a great view.

Being rushed on back to back business trips and problems in travel arrangements caused stressed. On my second trip, the Courtyard Marriot caught me by surprise! It's just not your typical modern state of the art hotel. The outside reflects the subtle charms of Boston with its old style brick decour. I walked into courteous staff and by chance, a Boston Lager representative with free samples! The room was pristine with windows pouring in light and the room temperature perfect. Sinking into soft pillows and the comfortable bed lulled me to sleep. Not knowing the area, the front desk staff were the perfect concierce providing places to see and experience. It's a Boston experience you want to bring the family to enjoy in it's quaint and charming setting, without the large crowds flowing in an out of hotels, but yet be directly in the center of the city! Definitely will be back!
