“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed 29 June 2012

It was my first time in Boston and I was planning on only going there for several hours, but I decided to stay for two nights. I chose this hotel becuase of its location and the price. My room was nice and clean and the service was good as well.

I stayed here for our Sales Kickoff 2012. The event was managed well by the hotel staff. The rooms were great and the service was awesome. The mall being at the same venue made it even the more better for shopping etc. No complaints.

Recommended highly.

My Wife and I went for a weekend of touring the Freedom Trail and visiting our son. We stayed here and everything was perfect. Staff was great, room was really nice. It was also really hot this weekend and the AC worked perfectly. Close to everything from the Trail to Fenway. Great spot!

First time visit to Boston and chose here because of it's location and good reviews on Tripadvisor. Staff very friendly and really helpful and the room and bathroom both really good size. Although there was building work going on outside during the day, at night time the room was quiet. Exercise room is small with just a few machines. Breakfast is a good selection in a decent sized room on the ground floor. Location wise it's perfect for exploring Boston - an easy walk to either Fenway Park in one direction or towards the centre in the other, and the nearest T (underground station) is just a few minutes away. Car parking is either by Valet or in the car park across the road - if you have a car then unless you want to explore Cambridge or further afield, best to park it, as Boston is easily walkable.
The thing I remember best is the fact you can hang a card outside your room to request that it not be serviced that day (in return you get a $5 discount for breakfast or Marriott points) but in these eco challenged times, it's a really good idea in terms of reducing the amount of unnecessary laundry or other cleaning that goes on in hotels. More hotels should adopt this!

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor to escape the traffic noise - although once darkness falls, it isn't that...

I first heard about the Courtyard Marriott from a google search. The pricing wasnt all that ridiculous compared to other hotels in the area. My daughter attends Northeastern University, and you could walk from here. I've been staying there for the last four years. The staff is fantastic, especially Justin McToal. Anytime I needed a new reservation, or needed anything special while there, he was right there to accomodate me. I have never seen such a clean place! The ladies room in the lobby was so sparkling clean that you could literally eat off the floor. Everything was shiny clean! There's not a whole lot of frills but who cares, you are literally 1 1/2 blocks to Newbury St., a few steps from Prudential Center, Boston Duck Tours, and across the street from Lord and Taylor. I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Back Bay.

I travel to Boston frequently and I would never stay anywhere else than the Courtyard Copley Sqare. The staff from Bernardo the GM to those at the front desk to the valet are all focused on excellence and customer service! The property is conveniently located near everything whether you want to take a walk down Newberry Street, head to Fenway, eat at some of the best resturants or get to any of the many attractions in Boston. The hotel feels like a family owned hotel as there are less than 90 rooms. I highly recommend this hotel and staff to all!

Room Tip: All the rooms are quiet and spacious.

I was searching for a hotel in the Back Bay that wasn't absolutely outrageous in price. I never quite found that hotel... but this was the closest. I'm a Marriott family fan. The location can't be beat. The building is historic, so the rooms are odd shapes, but they are well appointed. I had desk, chair, mini-fridge, and granite bathroom. Wireless was included with the rate.

While there's no full service concierge, they assisted me in getting a towncar to the airport, with restaurants, and with directions. I would book again.
