Nice rooms. Larger than most. Check in is at 3 but room wasn't ready till 4:15 with barely an apology. We were told to just take a seat and wait. No issues during stay except ac in hotel broke last night we were there. At checkout front desk was very apologetic. It was a warm and humid weekend. I would stay here again since it is nice and things do break. Good location. We were able to walk to all major sites.

Unsurpassed location, right next to the Boston Public Library, 1 block from Copley Square, two blocks from Copley Square shopping malls, 3 blocks from Newberry Street, and close to subway stations.
Service is superb, the staff courteous and attentive.
Price excellent when compared to the surrounding hotels.
We were only scheduled to stay for 3 nights and on our way back from Springfield chose to rebook at this hotel cause they experience had been so gratifying.

Room Tip: ASk for the corner rooms

Everything about our stay was perfect. It is an exceptional boutique hotel on a quiet street in a great location. Our room was wonderful---quiet, clean, comfortable, superb housekeeping, with a great view, and much appreciated mini refrigerator and free wi-fi. In addition, everyone we encountered was very helpful and warm and cheerful and really made us feel welcome. The wine tasting was a very nice touch (as were the free cookies!). The hotel is steps away from the Back Bay stores/restaurants/malls and a short walk to Amtrak. We also walked to Fenway, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Public Garden, and even to Beacon Hill and the North End. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we very much look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Boston.

Room Tip: We like staying on a higher floor in the corner, quiet with a nice river view.

I travel to Boston often for business and have stayed in a variety of hotels. This was my first time at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Copley Square. Even though it is a distance from the Boston Convention Center, Copley Square is a great area to stay and worth the cab rides to the Convention Center. Lots of shopping and great restaurants, most within walking distance. This trip I decided to stay in a smaller place and this one fit the bill perfectly. It is a little of the main street and not your "typical" Marriott Courtyard. The building is on Exeter Street and was an older hotel. Marriott has turned it into a charming boutique hotel. Because the building is historic and older, the rooms are somewhat smaller than most Marriott Courtyards, but certainly not claustrophobic. The staff is terrific and very helpful. The front desk was very accommodating and helped us choose restaurants every night ... and their recommendations were spot on. They have a breakfast area, although like some other less expensive Marriott properties, it is not free, but it is also not exorbitantly expensive either. Probably equivalent to a nice coffee shop's breakfast. It looked like some renovation of the breakfast area was taking place and I am assuming they are building the "Bistro" that many of the Courtyards now have. Despite some construction in the neighborhood, I found my room to be quiet and the bed quite comfortable. I also had the privilege of meeting the manager of the hotel who was very concerned in making our our stay a nice experience. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone who likes a change from the "corporate" hotels in the chain.

Room Tip: When I stayed here there was some construction on my side of the building. You may want to ask for a...

Like a lot of my favorite Courtyards, this is in a re-purposed building (an old hotel) with all the expected amenities. It is nice to see some of the old memorabilia in the lobby and a reminder of traveling in the good old days. A perfect Boston location is nicely complemented by a friendly and helpful staff. I'll be back on my next business trip or vacation.

Room Tip: None of the rooms are on a busy street, so you can't go wrong.

I was in Boston for a single overnight stay and chose this hotel based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor. I wasn't disappointed!

I arrived early from the airport having traveled on a Redeye the night before. The front desk was extremely helpful and kind in securing me early check-in. I know it's not guaranteed but they did all they could to ensure I was in a room as soon as possible.

The room was on the smaller side to what I'm used to, but it was more than enough. A comfy chair, a king sized bed, a desk and a bathroom. And most importantly, clean!

The hotel was quiet and welcoming. Overall, a great experience.
