“All Around Ambience”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

We were having a large wedding reception next door at the Marriott Long Wharf. We had an intimate gathering at the Chart House on July 4th( convenient in the pouring rain) During dinner, we decided to order catered platters for the bridal suite that night where we hosted about 30 people. The food and service were so good that we came back for dinner the day after the wedding with extended family members.

“Great food, service, and atmosphere!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

The Chart House was our first meal in Boston as we went for a family meal once everyone got into town. The location is great, and the food was excellent! I had Chilean sea bass which was wonderful. My husband had prime rib, and he claims it was the best prime rib he's ever had (and he eats a lot of prime rib!). The lobster bisque was the best I've had! We also shared the cheesecake and it was great! We had a party of 11 people and had 2 servers, who were both excellent. One of them gave us the history of the building and it was so interesting! Having dinner at the Chart House was a great introduction to Boston!

“Great food on harbor”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This restaurant has wonderful food and a good atmosphere. Dress is clean casual - collared shirt/blouse/dress/dress pant, etc is appropriate for the atmosphere. On weekends, especially, reservations are suggested. This restaurant has higher prices , but if you'd like a splendid dinner out, we recommend this venue.
