Great service and delicious food. The roasted eggplant appetizer and the stuffed chicken breast are worth going back for. Very busy spot so make a reservation.

“Consistently Excellent”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Always have an excellent meal here. Management knows what they are doing... very professional, and it shows in everything they do. Excellent service by a knowledgeable wait staff. Food is prepared with care. Really enjoyed my veal dish on this visit. The pastas are always fantastic. Nice wine list but a bit pricey. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

We were wandering through Beacon Hill after helping our daughter move into her new apartment and had worked up quite an appetite. While the menu did not mention this, they are equipped to prepare gluten-free pasta dishes, so we stayed and had a wonderful dinner.
We started with a Caesar salad and a baby arugula and tomato salad. The Caesar salad was wonderful, even without the croutons, and the arugula salad was great too. My wife's pasta dish was home-made tagliatelle with sautéed porcini mushrooms and herbs. I ordered the same dish in the gluten free version, which came with a rice spaghetti-type pasta. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our daughter, who is also gluten free, ordered the zucchini, eggplant and asparagus risotto, which was also delicious. We both tried each other's dinners...always looking for new places to have great gluten-free meals! A glass of chianti and this was a perfect meal.

Our server, Santiago was very helpful and the service is great. They still change silverware and clean the crumbs off the starched white tablecloths in between courses. No Plexiglas on top of these tables! Great dinner, great service and nice atmosphere...we will be back.

“Loved this neighborhood gem!!!”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

We had Sunday lunch at Toscano and everything about it was wonderful!! The ambiance, the menu options, the service, and our food. Loved this neighborhood gem right there on Charles St. Our waitress was excellent, and even talked to the chef about getting us a long sought out soup recipe from a past Italy trip. I had the eggplant panini and have dreamt about it ever since. This is a must when in Boston!

“Wonderful lunch!”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

Our hotel, Ritz Carlton, suggested this place, located just off the Boston Common, for a fun Saturday lunch spot. They were right! Wonderful server with great ideas on a nice bottle of white. A wide range of selections on the menu, but I opted for the mushroom risotto special, which was out of this world!
Next time I am in the area, I want to try their sister restaurant in Cambridge...although I would definitely cone back here!

Thank CharlotteWalker
