My mom, sister and I were visiting Boston and we enjoy trying to find a place for tea when we travel to new places. When we found out that tea was offered at the Boston Public Library in the Courtyard Restaurant, we were excited to check it out. We were not disappointed. The tea, sandwiches and desserts provided were perfect and the service was attentive. What a special, hidden gem.

We have tea everywhere we go in the world. The Courtyard had a lovely atmosphere, cool and quiet, with a view to the library courtyard, good service and excellent tea. The food was plentiful and nicely presented. Definitely worth a stop if tea is your thing. There were two little princesses (yes, in costume!)there with a Mom at the same time and they were definitely enjoying the dessert!

This is a great find for Afternoon Tea Wed-Fri. Great quality and attention to detail, service and value in a lovely room. We went on a Friday and it was busy but not full, a lovely way to spend an afternoon!

We celebrated Mother's Day a day early with a beautiful Mother's Day Tea. Food was delicious. Service excellent. My new favorite spot for tea in Boston.

Made plans for afternoon tea prior to the incidents in Boston, and I was very surprised and pleased about how well Kelly kept in touch about our reservations via email. (Thank you so much!)

The food and tea selections were of a high standard (especially the savory options), and the room itself was full of flowers and comfortable table/chair combinations. The service was attentive but never annoying - just right.

We also visited the library and even took the free Art and Architecture tour. Overall, so much better than the usual hotel tea service.
