We stayed at the Bricco Suites for two nights. It was absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful and the service was impeccable.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston.

Make sure to eat at Bricco Restaurant. Some of the best Italian food I've ever had.

Room Tip: Make sure to eat at Bricco!

We stayed in Bricco Suites for 4 nights. What attracted us was the name and the pictures. We were very disappointed that our "suite" was only furnished with a (narrow) bed, a desk with design desk chair and ... nothing else. No sofa, comfortable chair or even a small kitchen table with chairs.
While eating breakfast we moved the little bench from the foot of the bed to the kitchen area. There truly was a kitchenette. Equipped with 2 plates, 2 spoons, 2 forks and 2 knives. And a coffee maker.
The owner acted very surprised when we told him this, but there was obviously nothing he could or would do for us.

Room Tip: Try to make sure that your suite is more than just a bedroom

Our group of 3 recently stayed in unit 101B, which is a 2 bedroom unit featured in their online video. We chose the Bricco because it was more economical than 2 hotel rooms and was located right on the Freedom Trail in the North end. We enjoyed our visit and would stay there again. There are things we wished we knew before we arrived as follows.
The good:
-The unit was large which great after traveling together for two weeks
-It was very clean when we arrived and was cleaned daily
-The beds were comfortable, the bedding and bathroom linens were very good quality
-The bathroom amenities were great, a two headed shower, a makeup mirror, nice complementary shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel, body lotion, lip moisturizer, and sewing kit.
-The kitchen/living room was quite spacious.
-We did not encounter food odors or noise from the restaurant.
-There are more restaurants, cafes and bars within 4 blocks of the Bricco than one can easily count, providing a wonderful selection at all price points.
The bad:
-There are 39 very narrow, twisting steps (2 stories) from street level to the unit. Upon arrival Michael assisted us in bringing our three large bags up, but we left very early in the morning and had to wrestle our bags down on our own. Negotiating the stairs could be difficult for guest not in the best physical condition.
-Your only point of contact is a restaurant employee, the three different employees we dealt with were all extremely helpful but we felt we were imposing on them, as they always appeared to be quite busy. There were limited written instructions in the room. One card listed the check-in and check-out time. There was no information on the use of the electronic items in the room. For example, the remote for the heating/cooling unit in the living room had been “reprogrammed” by a prior guest and we were unable to determine how to operate it. (We ended up calling and bothering Michael)
The bothersome:
-If you are not from a large metropolitan area, you may be amazed at the number of people on the street (and in the street) and the noise. Because of the world cup match, there was a lot of shouting and cheering noise that traveled into our unit from nearby restaurants and bars (not the Bricco). Trash collection begins about 4:30 am which consistently woke one in our group.
-On the desk in one bedroom is a framed “price list” for all of the items in the room. This list included not only the robes, but the towels, washcloths, soap dishes, toilet paper stand, etc. To me this was a message to those who might consider stealing these items. I was uncomfortable with them thinking I would take their stuff.
-Although the item has a large kitchen area which includes a small frig, coffee maker, cooktop & microwave, the kitchen was only stocked with 4 snack size plates, 2 cloth napkins, 2 old fashion glasses, 4 wine glasses, 4 coffee cups and flatware for 6 or 8. There was no cookware. We had rented this unit hoping we could fix ourselves a quick breakfast or lunch in the room and save a little money – but this clearly wasn’t possible. So why have the kitchen?
-This was a two bedroom unit so one would think the room could and would be occupied by more than two people. However the kitchen only had two stools at the bar and we consistently only received two washcloths and hand towels from the housekeeper. We quit asking for more after the first day.
None of the bad or bothersome items had a major impact on our stay. We would still recommend these suites to others of the same mindset.

My husband, baby boy and I were visting Boston for just a day and chose the Bricco based on its location and wow did we choose wisely! The rooms are behind/above the Bricco restaurant and two wonderful shops (a bread shop causing the room to smell DIVINE and a "saulmeria" with speciality cheeses, olives and fresh made pasta). Despite its proximity to the restaurant, our room was wonderfully quiet and the amenities were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our son's portable crib, and while there was no tub we took turns showering with him (he was 7 months old at the time of the trip).
Bricco is in the heart of the Italian District and only two blocks from the harbor. We walked everywhere including parts of the Freedom Trail, Union Oyster House, Fanueil Hall, Mikes Pastry and so many amazing restaurants. We loved our stay at the Bricco and highly recommend it for couples!

My husband & I stayed here when we came to support our kids in the Marathon in April 2014. The location is fabulous, a great coffee/breakfast shop across the street, a great Italian deli that makes awesome sandwiches and MANY restaurants & bakeries. The suite we had was spacious & beautifully appointed. The bed was so very comfortable! Although no elevator the staff helped with our luggage so that was not an issue.
Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay in a studio suite with my daughter at Bricco Suites. The room was quite large with ample room for the two of us. The small fridge and sink area with coffee maker came in handy for our morning tea and coffee. Wood floors did make it slightly noisy but not enough to disturb our sleep. Bathroom was very clean and very modern with large shower and great thick towels. The best location in the North End with Italian restaurants, pastry/coffee shops and bakery right outside your door. Also close to the Harborwalk and Aquarium and Haymarket and TD Bank North for sports events and shows. Would definitely stay here again when visiting my son in Boston.

No Hot water for 2 days , so in the morning we complain to Marjory during the check out, she called for us the manager and told us that we won’t be charged ( I made her confirm it twice and she repeats that there is no charge for the night) , 2 days after that I saw on my account 120 $ of charge ( we just have a discount)!!!
We called David from Bricco so he told that the discount for the night is only what they can do for us even their employees are giving wrong informations and lying to their customers.
David told us that he would talk to the owner and that he will call me back ASAP but he never did it … Very surprised about the way they ‘re making business i’m even more surprised because it is the US they’re always good at making business and taking care of their customer !!
By the way, the windows of our room were directly above the garbage bins and an alley where the cooks from the restaurant talked very loudly late at night, also there is permanent light in the hallway in front of our door so is making it difficult to sleep.
Also, terrible permanent smell of bread and pizza paste in the room !
So I wouldn't stay there again.
