“Boston Back Bay/Fenway”

This was a very nice place to stay. Close to Fenway if you are baseball fans. Rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful. The new upstairs balcony was a great place to sit and talk and have a drink before going out to dinner or the ball game. We invested in the on/off Old Towne Trolley and that was good for 2 days and it helped us get around Boston without a car and without really having to use the subway system. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I visit Boston.

First time at this hotel, very clean, helpful staff. The room was great. Not a great view for a platinum member but you can’t have everything. Great food nearby. I definitely would stay here again.Great mall nearby also.

I made reservations for my daughter and her boyfriend to stay at Residence Inns. It was going to be a special visit to Boston. She's going to be attend PA school there and was looking for an apartment, they had tickets to the Sox game and he had told me that he was going to propose to our daughter. I used and bought points so they could be close to the park and the school, asked for a nice room and thought it was set up. Well there were problems. He proposed on the rooftop and then went back to the room. Once in the room the realized the light in the bathroom did not work. They called down for assistance and was promised someone would be there within 15 to 20 minutes to fix it. They were tired since they flew in from Chicago after driving from Michigan and wanted to end their day. So while waiting they unpacked some of their stuff. After over forty minutes they called down again. They were told again "they will be right up". Another thirty minutes goes by and still no one. Now upset and tired they went to the front desks to find 5 staff members sitting down watching TV in the back room. One of the front desk guys finally went up to look at it at the problem and announced he couldn't fix it. So he told them they would have to change rooms. This wasn't a good answer after waiting for as long as they did. So they had to pack up all their belongings and change rooms. The room was not the same. The first room was basically a small suite with different areas. The room they were moved into was a one room standard room. The next day someone at the front asked how the stay was so far, and they had mentioned the engagement and the room issue. So one of the girls at the front desk had sent up a bottle of champagne and crackers for them. Just a little too late. Overall they said the food there was terrible, especially the coffee in the room, the maids came at 9am to clean the room but they were still asleep so the room was never cleaned. And it wasn't cleaned for the 4 days they were there because the maids continually came to early and never came back. The location was great for them for the Sox game and so were the local restaurants. But they and I think the hotel is not worth using 140,000 points for a 4 star hotel. Based on YOUR rating scale I would have expected first class accommodations, service, food and attention to detail. I am extremely disappointed and upset that I wasted my points on this hotel stay, especially when it was such a special night for the two of them. They'll remember it but for all the wrong reason. By the way my daughter will be in the Boston area for the next three years and you can probably tell where I'm not going to stay when my wife and I visit.

This hotel is excellent for Back Bay.It is convenient to the historical sites,museums,restaurants. It is also convenient to the Logan Airport. The staff was so nice and attentive to their customers. The room was very nice and comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Me, my husband and sister-in-law came up to Boston for my daughter's graduation from Emerson. Months ago I had stayed at this hotel and visited their rooftop deck. I had the idea to have a graduation party on the rooftop and contacted my daughter's roommates parents. All thought it was a great idea. It couldn't have turned out better. The weather was very cooperative, the food from the catering place was wonderful, the rooftop is beautiful with a view of Fenway and the rest of Boston. It was fantastic. We had adjoining rooms and that also worked out great. The hotel is fairly new so everything is clean and your get breakfast! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is centrally located in the middle of the City and the T or a cab is right at your doorstep.

This hotel is very clean, sleek and modern. Excellent buffet breakfast is offered every day and dinner selections, more than snack food, are offered Monday-Thursday at 6pm. Good location with many restaurants and retail shops. Short walk to subway stops. Will definitely return.

It's clean convenient to nearby shops and modern. It's overpriced. No room service other than a bar. It's in the middle of town so somewhat noisy although if you stay on one if the top levels better. Free breakfast very good
