Nice and new property conviently located near Fenway. The rooms are spacious and well apointed. The only minor issue I had was that I did not locate the black-out blind button until the next morning. It was there but located accross the room and unmarked as to its pourpose and only discovered it by accident while trying to turn on the bathrrom light. I would have slept better had I known there was an option to draw the shades blacking out the lights from accross the street.

We stayed here three nights and we had a great time!!! This is a new hotel and it is in a great location for going to games and site seeing in the city. The rooftop patio is relaxing and a great place to drink coffee in the morning or an afternoon glass of wine. The room and staff were welcoming. We would for stay again!!!!

By far, one of my favorite hotels in all my travels. Convenient, extremely comfortable, and wonderful staff. Stayed in a suite with my two sons and had plenty of room, including a kitchen with a full refrigerator. Although why we would need that with the complimentary breakfast served - it was amazing, with just about everything that can be found on a breakfast buffet.

The best feature of the hotel for us was the location. We were attending a night game at Fenway and the hotel is not even a block from the park. It's a very safe and easy walk with two tired boys at 11:30pm.

The second best feature of the hotel was the rooftop deck. A beautiful view, comfortable seating, and the nicest and most helpful bartender in all of Marriott (I wish I remembered her name - sorry!). In the evening, it was the perfect gathering spot for a group of friends who were meeting up and heading to the game. In the morning, it was the perfect relaxation spot for me to lounge in the sun while my boys swam in the pool, located just off the patio. Large TVs and heat lamps rounded out the comfort zone.

The valet remembered my name each time I went to get the car (not cheap, but where in Boston is? There are unlimited in-and-out privileges, which is a great feature), even before I said it.

Free wi-fi, small pool is fun for kids to splash around, and a comfortable lobby with computers available for use.

We go to Boston at least once a baseball season and we will always and forever stay here from now on. The room rate is not a bargain, but with the location, free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, and complete kitchen, staying here ends up being a great value.

Spacious rooms in a prime location. Close to many areas of interest!!! Would definately return. We walked a couple miles to get to downtown and it was an easy safe walk. Front desk personnel was very helpful and provided maps and info for train system.

This was a very nice place to stay. Close to Fenway if you are baseball fans. Rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful. The new upstairs balcony was a great place to sit and talk and have a drink before going out to dinner or the ball game. We invested in the on/off Old Towne Trolley and that was good for 2 days and it helped us get around Boston without a car and without really having to use the subway system. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I visit Boston.

First time at this hotel, very clean, helpful staff. The room was great. Not a great view for a platinum member but you can’t have everything. Great food nearby. I definitely would stay here again.Great mall nearby also.

I made reservations for my daughter and her boyfriend to stay at Residence Inns. It was going to be a special visit to Boston. She's going to be attend PA school there and was looking for an apartment, they had tickets to the Sox game and he had told me that he was going to propose to our daughter. I used and bought points so they could be close to the park and the school, asked for a nice room and thought it was set up. Well there were problems. He proposed on the rooftop and then went back to the room. Once in the room the realized the light in the bathroom did not work. They called down for assistance and was promised someone would be there within 15 to 20 minutes to fix it. They were tired since they flew in from Chicago after driving from Michigan and wanted to end their day. So while waiting they unpacked some of their stuff. After over forty minutes they called down again. They were told again "they will be right up". Another thirty minutes goes by and still no one. Now upset and tired they went to the front desks to find 5 staff members sitting down watching TV in the back room. One of the front desk guys finally went up to look at it at the problem and announced he couldn't fix it. So he told them they would have to change rooms. This wasn't a good answer after waiting for as long as they did. So they had to pack up all their belongings and change rooms. The room was not the same. The first room was basically a small suite with different areas. The room they were moved into was a one room standard room. The next day someone at the front asked how the stay was so far, and they had mentioned the engagement and the room issue. So one of the girls at the front desk had sent up a bottle of champagne and crackers for them. Just a little too late. Overall they said the food there was terrible, especially the coffee in the room, the maids came at 9am to clean the room but they were still asleep so the room was never cleaned. And it wasn't cleaned for the 4 days they were there because the maids continually came to early and never came back. The location was great for them for the Sox game and so were the local restaurants. But they and I think the hotel is not worth using 140,000 points for a 4 star hotel. Based on YOUR rating scale I would have expected first class accommodations, service, food and attention to detail. I am extremely disappointed and upset that I wasted my points on this hotel stay, especially when it was such a special night for the two of them. They'll remember it but for all the wrong reason. By the way my daughter will be in the Boston area for the next three years and you can probably tell where I'm not going to stay when my wife and I visit.
