Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) just checked out of our 1 bedroom suite this morning. I was torn between this hotel and one other in the Fenway area and I'm so glad I booked this hotel. Our suite was spotless as was the hotel overall. As a parent, I loved the on site laundry room with new washers and dryers and as a bonus; it's open 24 hours! Plus, there's more than 2 washers and dryers (I think they had atleast 6 of each). And the laundry was right by the pool so I could wash clothes while my kids swam in the indoor pool. For those who might need to do laundry at the hotel, bring your own quarters as the hotel ran out of them on three different occasions (very odd for a hotel with such a large laundry room). The rooftop deck was such a nice, relaxing area with great views of Boston. Shaws grocery store was a short 10 minute walk away although the hotel offers free grocery delivery service for those who can't or don't want to walk to the store. There's a Starbucks and panera within a short 5 minute walk.
Our sons slept on the pull out bed in the living room and they complained about the bed. After sitting on their bed for a few minutes, I could understand why they complained...the springs in the bed felt like they were going to pop out of the mattress but most pull out beds are like that. Breakfast in the mornings was crowded but everything was refilled in a timely manner; there was no shortage of food or drinks. I was surprised to see all of the children in the lobby because we didn't see or hear them on our floor (thankfully).
If you're going to Fenway, this hotel is a dream...we loved the short walk to and from the game. It was perfect. Some other guests complained about the security in the hotel as guests are required to use their cards to access the elevator and pretty much everything that isn't on the lobby floor (the pool, the fitness room, laundry, etc). But I loved the security; felt very safe. If you have older children who might go to the lobby or pool area by themselves, be sure to get them their own key so they don't get "stuck"!

We stayed here for 3 nights beginning July 10th. Attended a Red Sox game-not a better place to stay for going to a game!
The rest of the trip we spent our days sight-seeing in Boston. There is an Old Town Trolley pick up on the other side of the ballpark. Very convenient as well. We used the trolley to get to different spots around town. It only runs until 5 pm so we were back at the hotel every evening around 5:30. Lots of choices to eat at around the hotel within walking distance. Starbuck's - very close!!!!!!
Stayed in room 214 - VERY QUIET.

I have stayed at this Marriott Residence inn for most nights in the last 12 months for business. I haven't stayed there in about a month however until I stayed for one weekend on a personal trip. The staff has been the most courteous I have had the pleasure of having. I travel every week for work and have gotten to know many hotels and hotel staffs and I always appreciate the attention and courtesy I receive here. The rooms are always extremely clean and large, the kitchenettes are the best kitchenettes I have seen at any Residence Inn. I would recommend this hotel to any frequent or occasional traveler.

Room Tip: Ask for a high-floor, non-street view room so you can get a view of Fenway.

Contemporary style, hip vibe, and very nice accommodations. Loved the rooftop. Great location. Service was top notch. Hefty parking fee due to its location near Fenway, but parking attendant was quick to get our car in and out and it was especially appreciated during Red Soxs games. Breakfast was also very good with many hot items.

Room Tip: We had 4 people in a studio. It was a little tight, but they ran out of 1 bedroom suites at the time...

This property is well-kept and beautiful. The rooftop lounge is a real gem. The air conditioning was ice-cold. So close to Fenway, the T, and commuter rail. There are a bunch of dining options in the area, but if you need a quick snack, pop across to Sal's Pizza or on a Red Sox game day, hit the sausage cart at the corner of Yawkey Way.

This is a great hotel to stay if you're in town for a Red Sox game or tour. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great. The breakfast was excellent and even had pastries from a local bakery. It's in an area with many restaurants and there's a Starbucks within walking distance. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out for a drink. It overlooks Fenway. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: You could hear notice from the street on the 2nd floor rooms facing the street.
