WeCame from philly and the good and staff made it worth the trip.burgers where great wife liked the salad but I can't say I enjoyed my beer served in a red Sox glass, just saying-from Philly area. ;-)

“All Green Lights to Go to the Red Hat”
Reviewed 1 July 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Good food and nice old school boston feel for a watering hole near Old Scolley Square. Good menu items available and draft beer by the pitcher.

“Great place - especially on Sundays”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We discovered Red Hat Cafe a number of years ago. It's not usually on our beaten path but we like to go here occasionally on a Sunday to relax and watch a game on the TVs there. There are usually friendly people at the bar and the bartenders are great. Although they have their full menu available, the chicken wings are large, tasty and only 10 cents per wing with a beverage purchase.

“Nice local place”

Pub like in basement. Restaurant like upstairs. Nice menu with a good mix of food. Fab buffalo wings and burgers.

Staff and locals were friendly and cheerful and gave a great feel to the place.

“Decent place for food and beer”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

I've been here a couple times as a friend lives right nearby. Each time has been a decent experience, not much to say, either good or bad. We've had apps, salads, and wings, and of course beer! The last time we went they had run out of Shipyard Pumpkinhead and Angry Orchard before 8pm on a Friday night so that was a disappointment.
