There are several good and bad points about this condo
The worst thing that happened was we were questioned by the local police. Apparently the owner has not right to advertise the house as a holiday home, as it is in a residential area and the house does not comply to housing safety standards. There are no smoke detectors, fire extinguishers etc. The back decking and driveway were hazardous to small children, with splinters of wood, nails and shrapnel scattered about. We were most displeased that we were unable to lock the front door. This was on key code entry and the owner let himself in, on several occasions, when we were there. This is not acceptable and we felt quite invaded, not to mention we may not have been suitably attired! We were given instruction to park on the drive and were either blocked in, or blocked someone else in, so turned out to be a bit of a hindrance. The condo itself was clean and tidy. There was a some amount of 'graffiti' from little hands with markers, but nothing too bad. The beds were comfortable and there was ample wardrobe/closet space for all of us to unpack and store our suitcases. The living room/lounge area was snug, with an excellent TV system. The kitchen was not very well equipped. Considering we had 4 adults and 3 children, there were only sets of 4 with the crockery, so only 4 plates, bowls etc. There was no full size cutlery and we had a job finding a sharp knife. But the dishwasher, washing machine and fridge all did their jobs well. We were disappointed not to see a hot tub, as advertised.
