“Good spot for pictures”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

Acorn street wasn't easy to find and we did have to stop by a store to get directions. I would recommend going to Acorn Street if you have 20-30 minutes to spare. It is a short walk from the Boston Common and Public Garden. Very neat old street.

“Enjoyed the rest of the neighborhood more than Acorn St”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to find Acorn St. Boston was filled with beautiful streets and this just didn't strike me as super special. I enjoyed walking through the high end neighborhood, but felt uncomfortable stopping to take pictures. Instead we saw it and moved on quickly.

“Charming neighborhoods”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

Boston has many similar neighborhoods. Old small scale houses very well preserved and charming. This neighborhoods are very quiet and they have few local businesses in the main street.
One of my fav is the Beacon Hill neighborhood.

“Private walkway”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

This place is tucked away, hard to find. But worth the find. Not for people with balance problems and high heels. True stone walkway

“response to nays woman at 8 Acorn Street”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

Actually--the unpleasant woman lives further up on Acorn Street. The lady at 8 Acorn Street is delightful, loves tourists, and has never spoken sharply to a tourist, ever!
