“Nice boutique hotel”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Rooms and beds confortable. Room was not big even though we had two double beds, on the small side but it is a boutique hotel. Breakfast was very good at the hotel restaurant every day. Good safe deposit box inside room, bathroom nice and shower preasure was excellent. The hotel has two subway stations within 5 minutes walk as well as TD Garden and Quincy Market area was no more than 15 minutes walking. We walked to the North End restaurants many times, it took us less than 10 minutes.

My husband and I stayed here from May 21-24 (3 nights). It was a surprisingly great experience! I have never been to Boston and I was a little worried that the hotel would not turn out the way I thought it would because it was such a good deal. It was such a lovely hotel. Small and quaint, but modern and industrial looking. It was the perfect size room for a couple. The room was very very nice. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, clean, etc. The staff was also very friendly and laid back. Location was pretty good in my opinion. It wasn't super convenient to get to the T that we needed to get to all the time. So, there was a lot of walking. But, it was very close to places to eat, the North End, the Freedom Trail, Quincy Market, etc. I loved the North End! The hotel was definitely ways away from places like Fenway and around that area. The only major downfall of the hotel and Boston as a whole was that everything closes really early! We're from California, so we were 3 hours behind. When everything was closing, we were ready to eat dinner. The bar in the hotel closes at 10, which was a little lame. We had to walk all over to find a restaurant that was open. Every time we wanted to eat at the hotel, they were closing. But, all in all, I really loved this hotel and I would definitely stay here again!! I would love to come back to Boston one day!

We stayed here for four nights and mostly enjoyed it. The check-in process was easy and quick and very friendly. The hotel is very close to the North subway station and there are several markets nearby if you want to purchase snacks or other items. The only disappointment was the housekeeping staff. We didn't complain though, so we really can't hold it against the hotel since they didn't know. Nothing major, just the coffee service was not properly restocked every morning, one of the beds was not completely made up, and the bath mat & towels were not always properly restocked. Overall, though, we enjoyed staying here and would consider staying here again because the location was great and the staff we did interact with was friendly.

I stayed here for business this past week for a couple nights, and I had a great experience. The room wasn't overly large but very comfortable and well appointed. The environment is very classy, and I hope to stay again on a future trip.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in the end of May 2014. We were warmly greeted and the check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a nice view. The hotel is located near the North Station with plenty of eateries and convenience stores around it. Once you take the subway and get off in Park Street (which is only two stations away), you can walk pretty much walk anywhere: Boston Common, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the New England Aquarium, etc. It is true that Boston is indeed a very walkable city with very friendly locals. The hotel staff is super kind, professional, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Solid hotel, good for the price. Stayed 4 nights for work. Within walking distance of a lot (very close to the Garden if you are a sports fan). The gym is tiny but I'm not much of a gym person and enjoyed being on the treadmill with no one else around. I think they have a partnership with a bigger gym nearby. I'm usually not one to go for mini bar things, but when I found gummi bears in a mason jar on my second night I was thrilled and had to do it.

The Finch restaurant had some good dishes, and its probably one of your best bets for food within the immediate area. There's plenty of great food options if you want to walk a little though. The staff was very friendly. It would get a five but there was nothing that wowed me about the decor or the room, but a very comfortable stay nonetheless.

Great little hotel with nice updated rooms. Service was good and staff was attentive. The location is close to Government Center in downtown Boston. Parking is difficult and expensive, but if you need to be in the area, the hotel is a good value. Breakfast is limited, but inexpensive and an Au Bon Pain is right next door for the "Eat & Run".
