“A Class Act”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2013

First, lets state the obvious, Neiman-Marcus caters to the affluent, and them some.
That said, there are ways to enjoy this beautiful store no matter your budget.
N-M carries an impressive selection of cosmetics, fragrances, and Men's skin care, fragrances and the like. You'll pay the same for these at any department store, so treat yourself to the gracious service that Neiman's offers.

This particular location also offers an impressive selection of home wares,, gifts, and N-M signature gifts, like their chocolate chip cookies. As for clothing and shoes they only carry the best, of the best, but for that special occasion, you can't go wrong. Courtesy services like personal attention, and on-site alterations, that were once a given at all stores are still featured here.

Stanley Marcus would be proud.

“Beautiful store”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 October 2012

I entered the store with a purpose after spotting it adjacent from the Back Bay Station. I was freezing with only a light cardigan, so I thought where better to buy a beautiful coat than in Boston. Upon entry, I realised the store was very upmarket because there were on,h a handful of shoppers in there. Nevertheless, I progressed to the coat and sweater section and found exactly the type of item I had been looking for and the sales assistant found my size and helped me try the item on. I was delighted with everything but the price, but bought the coat anyway, justifying it to myself by stating that I may not have the opportunity to buy such a beautiful coat ever again. It was lovely to be able to browse through such beautiful items that were hung in a logical, orderly manner in an old-fashioned way without a zillion other shoppers pulling things off the hangers and dropping things onto the floor because of poor quality hangers not suited to the style of clothing!

“Great Cosmetic Department”

Originally from L.A. However, everytime I visit Boston I get my Make Up Done with Jovan. He is my Go To guy...you will fall in love with his accent. Amazing Make Up Artist. There is a lady with a creepy stare that offers water. The new balenciaga boutique is beautiful but i still love lanvin.

“Incredible couture department”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2011

Let's face it. Some of us like to shop and if you want an amazing shopping experience, go to Neiman Marcus, Boston. Their couture department is amazing and if you need alterations, Margaret is fantastic and if she is off, ask for Pauline who is also very good.
Looking for a gown for that special wedding or event? Ask for Bruce Bates and he will surely find the most amazing gown you could imagine in any size you need.

Daniel Kramer, the manager, is all about the customer and the staff is more than accommodating whether you are there for a small item or something on a grander scale. Tucked away in Copley Square, it is a must visit.
Happy shopping!
