“Good food nice place”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

This is a nice place. A short walk from Fenway Park if you are going to a game. Four dinners, a drink for each of us, One person had coffee and a dessert and we had a bill around $230 with a tip. Definitely not cheap, but a nice place. My wife and her friends loved it. Personally, I would have rather eaten at the ball park. I LOVE a hotdog and some peanuts at a baseball game!! But don't let me lame ways stop you from going. They have a HUGE selection of drinks and a reasonable selection of food which happens to be very tastey!

“Very noisy”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

I had all my breakfasts during my stay at Hotel Commonwealth. A formule with a buffet is really missing.
After reservations I had also two dinners at that place and the food (salmon, sirloin) was just OK.
The noise is also very high.
Service is excellent and very friendly.

“One of my Boston favorites :-)”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

This is a good place to visit for breakfast (multiple visit!), dinner (couple of times) and even drinks! Very much feel like this is a place that knows how to take care of you and serve you excellent food. A must-go-to place in Boston. I will definitely visit the next time around in Boston :-)

“Plenty of positives”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Tried for dinner and was pleased with the overall experience.

Sat outside, and once the fierce overhead heating was turned off it became enjoyable, quickly.

There was a smooth, efficiency running throughout the operation, from helpful greeters to excellent servers and a busy but relaxed ambience.

And, the food was alright too. The spring onion soup was ordinary but the steak tartare was excellent. Our two roast duck dishes of the day were tasty, with the moist, succulent duck holding its own easily against the slightly strange sauce (honey and lavender was it?). But it ought to have been served hotter, so had it been sitting around?

All in all though, a Very Good rating is easily justified
