“One of the World's Best”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

The 2014 season will welcome a new conductor, Andris Nelsons. We are all looking forward to the arrival of this young and dynamic conductor. Boston Symphony Hall is beautiful and the acoustics are superb.

“Boston & Tanglewood”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

One of the great orchestras in the world. Not only Symphony Hall in Boston but Tanglewood is a place to go in the summer. This is where the Boston Symphony spends the summer. Put it on your bucket list. Take a blanket, a bottle of wine and listen to the music under the stars - perhaps a vision of heaven.

“World famous and worth a visit”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

One of the world's most famous orchestras. Performances generally at Symphony Hall, which in itself is worth visiting.
Actual performance quality varies, as there are frequent guest conductors, and there are many combinations of musicians who could play on any given day. I have never had a BAD performance; I have experienced GREAT performances and DULL performances.
Side gallery seats at Symphony Hall are cheaper, and sound quality is good.

“Great cultural experience”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

Boston Pops is part of the traditional bostonian experience and it felt great to witness some of the best musicians around. The place was old but it was still grand. It was easy to find too.

“Rehearsal ticket for $10”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

Check their website. I was on a budget so have to come during rehearsal. Ticket was priced at $10 but the performance is certainly worth more than that. It's worth visiting and enjoying the beautiful symphony.
