“Perfect situation for a congress”

Just aside the Boston Congress centre. Perfectly situated. Nice hotel. A bit far from the city centre but 15 minutes of walk from the downtown centre. Only negative aspect is the Air conditioning... really to cold. The restaurant is ok but not exceptional.

The feedback you provided was very much appreciated. While the South Station T stop is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and can take you to just about anywhere in the city, we also offer a complimentary shuttle service that travels to South Station, the Financial District and Faneuil Hall Market Place.

Stayed here for a conference at a nearby hotel that's actually on the waterfront. The hotel is adjacent to the new convention center but that is the only thing convenient about the location of the hotel for a business traveler. Restaurants require a bit of a hike to get to - as those restaurants are actually on the waterfront. As others mentioned - no shuttle to the airport is a real drawback (as most business travelers seem to go to and from the airport from this hotel).

The hotel itself had very nice rooms - very comfortable bed, clean sheets, showers with dual shower heads, climate control, and a nice touch with the semi-transparent pull down shades. However, it's missing the finer touches I'd expect with a 4-star at the rate that I paid. Was not able to find the concierge from time to time, limited staffing at the check-in desk (I saw two people manning the desk even though there were a multitude of people waiting), and just did not get the personal and feel that I would have expected - but I will give them the benefit of doubt as the hotel was at full capacity the whole time I was there and multiple conferences were being hosted simultaneously.

For those that utilize the gym, the gym was very nice (updated equipment) and there was adequate room in the gym for calistenics (sp?) and a nice indoor pool.

I'd like to add, internet is a bit pricey compared to other hotels.

The Westin Waterfront in Boston is all icing but little cake. You can tell that the hotel desperately wants it all work, but it simply doesn’t. From its non-existent mini bar, to its room service that offers fluff, to its paid wireless internet that cuts in and out, to it front desk computers that seemed down all the times, to its lack of airport shuttle, somebody in this hotel just doesn’t get it. Great potential but so off the mark that it’s laughable. On the other hand, I just stayed at a 3 star European Novotel in downtown Toronto, and the opposite was true. It was not all about flowery descriptions and so-called heavenly mattresses; it was about the core elements: service, value, meeting intuitive needs, and not nickle and diming the customer. I understand that a 5 star chain must charge for its service, but while someone at Westin built a 5 star facility for a 5 star hotel, whomever is managing this hotel is seriously dropping the ball. The soul of this hotel is missing. The intuitive needs of the customer have been lost in a sea of affectation and pseudo political correctness and a quasi commitment to the environment,

It was a wonderful stay, clean, top service, spacious rooms, comfortable beds.
Rooms are connected together through a door, which is not ideal if you have loud neighbours.
The hotel is not in the city centre but commuting is fairly easy, 5 min walk to underground station, 2 bus stops from airport. Price quality ratio is totally acceptable

my wife and i stayed 4 nights here and were happy with everything. At first we were a bit concerned about the hotel's location as some online comments say it is a bit remote. However I find the location was not bad at all if you take the transit. It is just 2-minute walk to the Silver line station and then you can transfer to other lines which can take you anywhere in Boston. The subway system in Boston is really good. Tthe weekly pass is only $15 and can be used for subway, bus and ferry.

The hotel is new and our room was spacious, very clean, and quiet. The mattress was neither too firm nor soft and my sleelp was great. The only problem we had was the 10-minute computer downtime right beifore our check-in, but this could happen to any hotel.

Stayed here for a conference. The hotel is very nice and decorated in a modern style. Comfortable rooms and well equipped for a large gathering. The location is not great as there is nothing in the area at all, however I didn't leave the hotel and its nice and close to the airport. I was a little disappointed that I could not get a sandwich for lunch (Starbucks had sold out) and I had to go across the street to a pretty lame deli for my food. The large downstairs event room where vendors were set up looked like it was being renovated or something and also as far as conferences go the food was pretty poor. Apart from that a very enjoyable quick stay.

We arrived very late at night and was disappointed to find out there was no airport shuttle to the Westin. We had to take a taxi for $22. The lobby is beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. It is not located very close to anything so make sure you have a car or are prepared for the cost of a taxi.
