We wish we'd had found this earlier as the audio stops around the viewing area gave a really good overview of the main places to see as a tourist in Boston. We had a lovely clear autumn day with uninterrupted views of the whole city, fabulous. You can purchase a ticket for five main attractions including this one for $50 or so which constitutes a great saving, again we found this out too late as not publicised much. The restaurant two floors above was reasonable for lunch too.

Nice views of the city but the tower itself isn't that nice. There is only an option for a pricey restaurant no cafe for a quick coffee. Seen and visited nicer observation viewing platforms.

The Skywalk, at the top of Prudential Tower (take the elevator to the 50th floor), is a 360 degrees view of the city of Boston. The cost is high (15$ per adult) if you have a small budget, but you will have a look of every buidings you could want to visit during your stay. You have a view of the Fenway Park field and if Red Sox plays, you could have a look to the game. You have a view on the two major parks of Boston downtown (Boston Commons and Back Bay park) and you'll see the sea (if weather is clear). Do not go there if you have fog because you will waste your money. Perfect for photo lovers or to have an orientation time before all your visits.

We went to the top of the Prudential on our last day to view the city and take in the places that we saw. It was well worth the $15. We were able to see the entire city of Boston. There is an electronic tour at each of the windows which gave you some history of what you were looking at. Glad we did it.

I was born and brought in Boston and left for work reasons when I was 22. Last week, my wife and I took our two grandsons to the Skywalk, which was a first for the four of us. The visibility was unlimited. The handsets gave an excellent explaination of what we were looking at. The two grandsons are studying the American Revolution. The handset noted the historical points of interest. This is a great way to start a visit to Boston. We parked at the Prudential building. It is a good location to tour the Mapateria (Earth) at the Christian Science Plaza and Copely Square. If you spend more than $12 at any of the shops/restaurants at the Prudential Plaza, go to the visitors' center and they will stamp your parking ticket for a significant discount.
