Description: Legal Test Kitchen (LTK), a Legal Sea Foods concept, ventures into uncharted waters and pushes the boundaries of innovation in premium food and drink. Multicultural dining options and inspired seasonal cocktails cast a wide net in attracting those who have an appetite for fun. Located in the Seaport District, our restaurant is within easy walking distance to the Institute of Contemporary Art, the World Trade Center, the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Bank of America Pavilion and hotels including the Renaissance Boston, Westin Waterfront and Seaport. LTK is both a destination and neighborhood hangout and our extended hours of operation make us a late night lure. In season, you can eat sea fare while smelling the salt air in our patio seating.

“Consistently good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

I have been here multiple times and have always received great tasting food. Last week I brought my friends who were visiting from out of town in for some lobster rolls and they thoroughly enjoyed them. The waitress was great and kept coming to see if we needed anything else. Even the manager dropped by the table to make sure that we were having a great time and enjoying the food. The atmosphere is inviting and the bartenders are generally friendly and helpful with suggestions on cocktails.

“Hit or Miss”

The chowder is a must have. It can get loud and scene-y on weekend nights. The entrees are average in my opinion.

“Good Food Great Drinks”

Get there early, as the place gets crowded fast. The food is very good and the drinks were great, not watered down!

“Funky with a YOUNGER BEAT”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

The dining area butts to the bar area and as it was a hockey playoff night versus the hated enemy Habs, it was crowded in the bar and noisy. At least the screens were visible so one could look up at the cheers and jeers. Our third visit there. The food is not as seafood oriented as their other establishments, and they do test-drive new offerings to see how they fly. The scallops were nearly perfectly sautéed. The fish "stew" was fabulous. Table next to us had nearly all of them with the fish tacos, which looked delicious and they said was their regular food choice.

“Great lobster”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2014

We had lunch here while in Boston and the food was lovely. It was very busy the day we visited due to graduations but the staff were really nice and found us a table outside. The staff were so friendly and told us the daily specials. I decided on steamed lobster and a lobster salad for my husband. Fab food and great service.
