“Club Level Is A Must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2012

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. Our room was a king size bed at the club level. When we checked in the rooms on club level were not ready, so we stayed a the seventh floor, we had access to the club level. The hotel is FABULOUS, the rooms are very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom, this hotel is close to many attractions, the water taxi is right outside of the hotel which make it very convenient to see the whole city of BOSTON! Since we paid for the club level with wasn’t a lot different in price we were about to get waters and sodas all day. The breakfast they have is AMAZING, they have eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, assortment of cheeses, smoke salmon, fresh fruit and baked goods, along with coffee, teas and juice! Well worth the price!

Room Tip: Club level , King size rooms are huge! The lower level, I heard you can hear traffic, police, fire t...

My husband and I took a chance and booked a hotwire deal not knowing the hotel we would end up with, just the price, star rating and general area, we were pleasantly surprised! The King Room was perfect for the two of us, in the future we would ask for a water view if possible, we had the city view. Bathroom was an oversized luxury from the normal hotel bathroom. Although the bathroom is separated by sliding half doors over the bed on one side and soaking tub on the other, if privacy is a priority this room set up might not be for you since noise does carry between the two rooms. The location was fantastic and easily accessible to the South Station T Stop for Boston, an easy trip from the airport and currently free for a summer promotion from the airport to South Station as long as you don’t have cumbersome luggage.

Room Tip: Pick up bottled water outside the hotel and any snacks you might need to avoid high priced mini bar...

We've booked a room for 4 people but the room should just be for 2 people instead. It's not QUEEN size beds. They are just full size for one person and the hotel does not have a room with sofa bed. We end up take turns to sleep on the floor during our stay. But the bathroom was big and nice with separate bath tub and shower room.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with 4 adults, book 2 rooms instead of 1.

I would not spend the money to stay here when cheap toilet paper and no privacy from bathroom to the bedeoom exists. Very loud floors at all hours. On the up side, the views are great and staff helpful. I ate at the French restaurant and the food was good but service poor. Once again, too many other great places for the price

This was my first trip to Boston and I can't say enough about the city, the people and the sites but what made my trip even better was my stay at the InterContinental Boston. I arrived early and had no trouble checking in and was on my way to my first day of sight seeing. The hotel is very nice, contemporary with clean lines, and the rooms are roomy but it's the people who make the hotel!

Luis Branco, the concierge, was such a delight to deal with every day. He always made me feel like a special guest despite other people waiting for his attention. His suggestion for dinner at Limencello was perfect~ some of the best Italian food I've eaten. He greeted with me each day with a "good morning" and every afternoon a "welcome back". Michael Ditterluni (sp?), the director of rooms was equally as kind. When I told him how much I enjoyed dealing with Luis, he sent apples, grapes and some Fiji water to my room as a thank you! All the above are just some of the reasons I love high-end hotels, the customer service is typically beyond reproach!

And although the hotel’s restaurant, Miel, is expensive ($4.00 for a cup of coffee) don’t miss the pear tart!

I was at the hotel for a meeting and was very pleased. The guestrooms are spacious and have all the comforts of home. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the North End and right on the water. Although I was here for a meeting I would recommend this hotel for any occasion.

We Stayed here this past weekend during our Girls Trip.
The Hotel was Beautiful and Grand just as you would expect. The location was superb! We basically drove off the I-93 and arrived right at the hotel.

Parking: Parking at the Hotel is very expensive ($40/day). We had done our research prior to arriving and were going to Park at Post office Square where it was $9/day on weekends and holidays. However, on the Bellhop's reccomendation we parked in a neighbouring building as they had a $10/day weekend special. When we checked out Monday Morning, we were shocked to find our parking cost us $50. ($10 x 2 days should not equal $50). Well Turns out the weekend rate ends at 3am Monday Morning. So when we left at 7:30am Monday, even though it was a holiday we were charged $30 extra for the regular week day charge of $30 dollars for 2-10hours. We were not very happy!!! I should have stuck with my research and parked at the Post Office Square!!!

Other than that the staff were very helpful! I booked on hotwire so I wasn't able to secure a room with 2 beds. However, the Girl at the front desk had a roll away brought up to the room and made up even before we made it up there with our luggage.

The gentleman at the concierge was friendly and very helpful. He pointed us in the right direction when we asked what we could do on a Saturday evening and even made us dinner reservations at the Atlantic Fish Company. (I'll review that on their listing, however, DELICIOUS!)

This hotel was in the perfect location, Boston was sooooo accessible and we were able to walk literally everywhere from the Intercontinental!

I would definitely reccomend it and would say here again no questions asked!
