Lovely hotel with posh rooms, elegant dining and a great view of the waterfront. If you're looking for luxury in Beantown, this place has it! Coupled with the fact that you're still close to tourist destinations and the business districts make this an awesome choice for pleasure or business. Rooms are spacious but not overbearing. Parking can be expensive, but that's expected for the location so be sure to factor that into the cost of your visit.

Dining at the hotel was great so if you don't feel like going to far, head down to the lobby. If you're looking for good seafood, take a quick walk over to the seaport area and check out any of the restaurants over there for fresh seafood.

Dear EBHtravels,

It is wonderful to receive such positive feedback. As you mentioned, parking throughout the city can be costly and we do consider ourselves lucky to be in such a convenient vicinity of many public transportation options to make driving as avoidable as possible!

You could not be more on point about our many dining options. In addition to our extensive menu variety between the food and beverage outlets, we are excited to be hosting signature evening events throughout the summer at our newest concept, RumBa featuring Five-10 Waterfront! Thank you for sharing your outstanding feedback and please come visit us again soon.

Sincerely,

The waterfront location of this hotel is ideal for tourists, as well as being in the heart of the financial district for business. On check-in, when the agent realised it was a special 40th birthday celebration, she sent a cheese platter up to our room (even though we hadn't told them in advance and didn't ask for special treatment, and we arrived after 1am). The hotel was generally clean and well-kept, except for the elevators - every time we used them, there was something or other spilled on the floor or stepped into the floor. Rooms were comfy and well maintained. TVs huge!! Nice F&B options with several restaurant and bar choices. Would recommend.

Last weekend my wife and I spent 3 fabulous days at the Intercontinental Boston for our 20th Anniversary. The staff was very professional and friendly. We were able to get a very early check-in and the girl at the front desk did her best to upgrade us to a water view. The room was immaculate, the food was great. You have to try the Suchi restaurant on the main floor, it was marvelous! highlight of our trip was the surprise bottle of champagne and chocolate strawberries that were delivered to our room courtesy of the Luis and the rest of the concierge team! Will be back no question.

On June 16th my husband and I arrived two hours before checkin time and was prepared to leave our bags. Not only were we allowed to check in (with the friendly assistance of our bell captain Steve) but because it was a special anniversary they upgraded our room to a SUITE!! With the availability to the lounge on the twelfth floor. Our view was amazing!
We walked around Boston only to arrive back to our room to find a lovely surprise of chilled champagne and chocolate covered berries. WOW I couldn't believe how special they made us feel. Thank you so much for making our anniversary such a memorable event.

My husband and I stayed at the InterContinental Boston for a lovely weekend vacation. The hotel is located on the waterfront with beautiful views of the city, and is just minutes from Logan International Airport. We booked a Superior Suite, and due to our Ambassador status we were upgraded to an Executive suite upon our arrival. The suite had a gorgeous full bathroom with double sinks, a shower, and a bathtub large enough for two. There was also a powder room in the living area which was very convenient, as we stayed with another couple and we were able to utilize both bathrooms in the mornings.

The bar downstairs (RumBa) is very well-designed and quite spacious. There is a wonderful bar selection and champagne menu. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Adam at the concierge helped us print our boarding passes, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants within walking distance (Barking Crab for a low-key bar to catch the World Cup game, and The Daily Catch for a sunset waterfront dinner).

Overall we had a wonderful stay in Boston! The only con we can think of is that the beds seemed small for full-size mattresses. We needed two beds to accommodate both couples, but I'd definitely recommend choosing a suite with a king size bed if you can!

Room Tip: The waterfront views are beautiful!

The Club Ambassador Charles was one of the best club staffs I've ever experienced in 30+ InterContinental Hotels in this world.

Also the quality of the hotel is AAA+ (especially for being 7 years "old").

This is a blue-print for any club lounge and IC Hotel world wide. Great job!

Especially with that experience, the IC Barclays in NYC was a nightmare before (no lounge, over-prized, old, no service, forgot mini-bar refill, mixed up laundry service).

Room Tip: nice view at 602

I needed a clean and safe location as I was traveling alone with young kids. I will only stay at Intercontinental when I travel. The service and staff are exceptional! The hotel is super clean and very safe, beautiful bathroom, slippers and robe The location is perfect, close to many family friendly attractions plus there are tour ducks and trollies within a few blocks to tour the beautiful city. Other sites within a few miles, for us walking distance such as the common and botanical garden, china town and library. Incase you or kids don't feel like walking there are trollies and subways. The only thing is that the food is very expensive.
The staff at the hotel are super helpful and wonderful, again (worth repeating) and they'll even direct you to McDonalds and Starbucks!

Room Tip: I personally don't se the point in spending a lot on a room, ours was reasonably priced and supe...
