“Good Burger”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

I asked the valet at a nearby hotel parking garage where I could get a great burger and he recommended Rustic Kitchen. The burger was really good, the vegetables were crips, the burger was correctly cooked and it had great flavor. Vegetables included your standard bevy (lettuce tomatoes).

Two high points:
1. The burger onions were nicely sauteed red onions giving a good but not over powering flavor.
2. The pickles for the burgers were clearly craft pickles, with good tartness and sweetness.

Low point:
1. The home cut french fries were, well just normal ol' french fries.

“Welcoming, warm, friendly and fantastic food - what more could you want?”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

It was so cold when we were in Boston (considering it was may) that we really wanted some comforting food and and a warm, cosy restaurants. We found it here.

We were seated near the pizza oven, but if we tried, it was easy to imagine it as an open fire. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was just what we were looking for. My husband has the duck ravioli, which he described as the best meal he had to that point in the U.S. I had mushroom tortellini - also very very good. We had an eggplant rolatini as an appetiser and it was surprising, and amazing.

We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned the next night for some wine at the bar, and were greeted with the same welcoming service that we had enjoyed the night before.

Great restaurant for a cold wet day in Boston.

“Nice ambience...and not noisy!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We had the nice surprise, entering this restaurant, to find ourselves in a lovely interior where we could actually converse comfortably. So for starters, we were predisposed to enjoy our meal. And we did! The service was excellent and everyone thought the food was excellent. I highly recommend dining here. We will definitely return.

“Had lunch here after flight from Texas”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We were famished after our flight. It was just past 2:00pm. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful. The calimari and the fresh seafood were just great. I had a well prepared Cobb salad and loved it.
