“Don't miss this”

Besides having to go through security and empty your pockets for the medal detector, the ship won't disappoint. Must see for adults and children.

“Great History”

Where else can you walk aboard the oldest commissioned warship in the world? Watch your head when you're down stairs, watch your head - sailors were much shorter 200 years ago.

“A must do......”
Reviewed 1 September 2014

If in Boston and you have the time, this is a must for anyone even remotely interested historical tours and attractions.

Upon entering (which is free or with donation) you will have to pass through security (as in an airport). Naval personnel who staff the boat will help create an image as they describe battles and living conditions as you roam each deck. The boat itself is very impressive for a 200 year old battleship.

Certainly a very interesting stop on our visit to Boston!

“Beautiful ship - do not miss this excellent attraction when in Boston”
Reviewed 1 September 2014

This was on our 'do not miss' list when we came to Boston and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Luckily, it was quiet when we got there so going through Security was very quick. TAKE YOUR PASSPORTS WITH YOU IF YOU ARE NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. No passport - no entry! The vessel is in superb condition and it's great to be able to wander below deck as well. The Navy staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and help to make the visit more enjoyable. Wonderful ship with a fascinating history.
There is an excellent shop for buying gifts.
