In a stylish and vibrant setting, Haru Sushi Bar/Restaurant/Bar serves freshly prepared Japanese dishes with a focus of making the customer feel special. Haru's menu is based on quality, creativity, and generous portions of sushi and sashimi. While the fare is very important to Haru's customer, this is not their only reason for dining here. Many return frequently simply because they enjoy the whole experience Haru provides. It's no wonder they say, "it's the next progression in Japanese Fusion."

My husband and I stopped in for lunch since he loves sushi. They seem to a have a decent selection I really only like California rolls so I ordered that and the Asian chicken salad. They missed the mark on the salad. Shredded VERY spicy chicken with lettuce and artichoke hearts. The dressing was not good and again extremely spicy. They really should mark the items that are that hot. The California rolls were ok. My husband was really happy with his sashimi bowl of very fresh fish and sushi rice. Not my cup of tea but he loved it and service was welcoming and great.

Walked in to an empty restaurant and was told we had a 15 minute wait for a table due to the influx of people who had just walked in?!? We were directed to the bar to wait. Clearly they just want you to buy a drink before they seat you. Rude and unprofessional service. Much better places to go in Boston.

I had wanted to try this place for years as it always looked great when I walked by. It was disappointing. I didn't find the quality of the fish to be high end. It almost seemed a little "old". Service was also very slow. I definitely would not go back.

The place looks chic and inviting but the food is terrible. Not trained sushi chefs. Fish cut all wrong, not fresh, poor quality. Some of the dinner specials say "sushi" but what you get is sashimi!! They don't even know the difference! Frightening. Plate was poorly composed, ill conceived. Difficult to eat. Plate was piled with food inartfully with cuts of fish far too large to bite. Just disgusting. Bartender was nice but not very skilled. Skip it!!!

We had chirashi and a crunchy roll which followed miso soup. The menu wad extensive w some unusual dishes. The fish in the chirashi was varied and plentiful but cut in too large pieces to eat properly . The roll was very good and the soup adequate. The service was a bit sketchy ,
