I loved the Godfrey. First, the service was great. I showed up at 8 am mostly to drop off my car and bags before I started my first day at a new job. I didn't expect the front desk to be able to give me a room as it was 8 am but somehow they accommodated me so I could clean up after a four hour drive.

THANK YOU!

It was a nice, modern, clean, comfortable room.

The service was fantastic. The wifi is fast. And the exercise room was clean with good equipment.

Two minor nits to pick.

First, as other reviewers have noted the rooms are dark. But that seems to be the fashion these days.

Next the exercise is in the basement with only elevator access to it. This seems like a fire hazard. How do you get out of the basement if the elevators are shut down.

We offer interior or exterior rooms; interior tend to be a bit darker due to the fact that they are facing the back of the building, where as our exterior facing rooms have more natural light!

I am so sorry to hear that it was not communicated to you; there are stairs that will take you to the fitness center as well!

Look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

Stayed there on business. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Had a minor issue, which they helped resolve. Only complaint was that there was no desk/table from which to work in the particular room I stayed. I'll know to ask next time.

My 13 year old daughter and I took a girls trip to Boston in April. We had a wonderful time and were treated like VIPs, The Godfrey hotel and more importantly their people really deserve the credit. Kristi and Kai checked us in, they were truly delightful. They shared some great ideas on what to experience, recommended an amazing restaurant, and made us feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated. The room was perfect, it is a boutique type hotel in the theater district. Rooms are not huge but so nicely done. Shortly after getting to our room we were surprised with a welcome gift basket. Kristi had hand selected treats, drinks, and fun she thought we might like. My daughter was super excited and asked if they thought we were famous, Hmm did I make the reservation under Roberts, Julia? The following morning we enjoyed breakfast at the wonderful little coffee room next door, another perk given to us from the awesome Godfrey team. At check out we met the charming Ophelia who we discovered likes to getaway and visit a favorite restaurant in our hometown.Small world, hope to see you there, Ophelia. So clearly we LOVE the Godfrey hotel, we highly recommend, and will definitely make this our Boston place. Thank you, Kristi, Kai, and Ophelia, you made us feel fantastic. Your management team should be very proud of the way you represent the company.

Such great customer service! The rooms were fantastic. Would definitely stay again. We never had to open a door when coming into the hotel and the registration person helped us with several things during our stay
