I am always so hopeful about artisan doughnut shops but this place is not knocking it out the park. They taste like fried biscuit dough and are very greasy. The price isn’t a big deal to me if the doughnuts are good. Kane’s doughnuts are Boston’s best! Just saying.

We love donuts and these didn’t disappoint. Loved the real ingredients and fresh taste. Some very unique flavors and some classic oldies but goodies.

Thank stopped in as a surprise on my way home from work. I got 6 different doughnuts to the tune of $18 and was very dissatisfied. The glazed and Boston cream were chewy, not light and airy as expected. The cake like doughnuts were moist, better but not $3 each worthy.

They look amazing. They do taste great also, great selection. But very heavy and filling. Huge donuts. Price is a bit high ( $36 for a dozen). For a special occasion, or to say your tried them one once. Unique flavors and fun toppings.

I tried the lemon poppyseed doughnut. The glaze was intensely flavored with tart lemon, which was great. Poppy seeds were sprinkled on top and I would have liked more of them (I also would have liked them to be in the dough). This was a cake doughnut with one fatal flaw. It was soaked through with oil indicating that it had been cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. That ruined it, unfortunately. The $3 price tag is also pretty steep for a doughnut.
