“#1 hotel in Boston”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2013

Just returned from a family wedding at The Four Seasons, Boston. Received a free upgrade to an Executive King Suite upon arrival. Wow! Spacious & elegant. The service in this hotel is outstanding. If you're a runner expect a towel & bottle of water from the doorman upon returning from your run! Luxurious cars to transport you within a few mile radius. The hotel is located across from beautiful public gardens. Near the T, restaurants & shopping. The theater district is only a few blocks away. We loved everything about it...

Room Tip: The best view is facing the public garden, the front of the hotel. The Executive king suite rocks...

What a joy to read your review - thank you for taking the time to share your experience iwth us. We're so pleased you had the chance to explore the hotel's Back Bay neighborhood as well as to benefit from transport in our House Car (and more). Should future travels return you to Boston, we hope you'll once again choose Four Seasons. It would be a pleasure to host you once again.

This was our second time at the Four Seasons Boston. Perfect from beginning to end. Family friendly, helpful staff, great location, and luxurious accommodations. Went to Boston to visit our nephew in college and could not have had a better venue to do so. From the valet park to reception to the concierge and on, everyone was personable, accommodating, and professional. Why go anywhere else...

We have done extensive international and domestic travel and stayed at many different luxury hotels. Our favorite hotel in Boston is the Four Seasons Hotel (have stayed here at various times for over 20 years). The experience from the front door to your room is outstanding; personal greeting at the front door; warm, friendly smile at front desk, and preferences noted in your profile satisfied (e.g., every time I check in, there are always two power strips in my room along with my favorite amenity). Guests are pampered by the broadest range of excellent services: housekeeping, overnight laundry and dry-cleaning, timely and accurate room service, knowledgeable concierge and so on, including swimming pool and work-out equipment. Four Seasons is excellent at attracting happy staff and in training people in the "Four Seasons way." They truly like serving guests. Take a room over-looking the Boston Common; a higher floor provides a better view and somewhat less noise (but, not a problem). We enjoy the food at the Bristol Lounge; only issue is that we always need a change. The concierge knows many excellent restaurants nearby and around Boston

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share your experience with us. What a compliment to know that our hotel is your favorite in Boston; we appreciate your business and loyalty immensely. We pride ourselves on having warm, friendly, caring staff and are thrilled that's exactly what you experience while here - and from the point of arrival onward no less. The Public Garden is indeed a one-of-a-kind view that is breathtaking in all seasons, and we're delighted that you enjoy The Bristol Lounge and also enlist the assistance of our Concierge staff for additional restaurant recommendations. There's so much to enjoy at our Back Bay hotel - and we're so glad that you agree. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future, and to continue to make memories for you upon each stay.

We were a group of 33 arriving at the Four Seasons and our plane had arrived late . We had dinner reservations at the Top of the Hub and were running late. The staff had envelopes with our names on them with our key cards in them and handed them to us as we stepped into the hotel. What great service!

The breakfast and drinks were outstanding in the bar and restaurant.
Room service was quick and thorough.

Housekeeping was above and beyond.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the Boston Gardens

From the valet, to the check that greets you by name as you walk up to the front desk-(I guess they got my name from the valet), to the beautiful room, my stay was really wonderful. I do a lot of traveling throughout the year and really grow tired from the experience actually. But this hotel does such a wonderful job of anticipating your every need. Of course, it all starts with the staff. They seem to love what they're doing and seem genuinely happy to create a great experience for the guests. They operate like they're each owners' of the hotel! Many thanks to them all!

Room Tip: I did ask for a specific room. My view was of the Legal Seafood...so not facing the park...but the r...

This is a lovely hotel. Unlike many American chain hotels it offers free WiFi. Also, there was plenty of free still water topped up daily in the room. They have an excellent laundry service. If choosing a room, you should insist on one looking out to the front of the building where you have a view of Boston Common rather than one at the back where you are looking out on a side street. The one criticism I would make of this hotel is that when arriving outside, despite the fact that there were plenty of bell boys around, nobody offered to take my bags as I hauled them out of the taxi and into the reception area. The restaurant in the hotel, the Bristol Lounge, I have reviewed separately.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking Boston Common

Thank you for taking the time to review our Boston hotel. I’m thrilled to know that you enjoyed our amenities including complimentary WiFi. As travelers ourselves, we understand just how important convenience - and small touches - can be. They make a difference, and often are the difference between a good trip and a great one. Everything at the hotal was wonderful.
From the time we arrived until checkout the staff was professional and attentive. The bar and restaurant were busy but, at the samre time, private. The few issues we had were addressed and corrected immediatley.
Would stay here every time I am in boston.
