If you can plan a trip on an off weekend, the rates can be low and you will be treated to a Boston classic! Clean rooms, one block from Park St. T stop (safe walking), Starbucks, 7-11. Old hotel but quiet and well stocked with fresh linens, toiletries. Home of Parker House rolls.

I was amazed to find this classic Boston hotel so much cheaper than others well-rated here. Via TripAdvisor and Orbitz, got a deal on 2-day stay in double bed room about $170 per night. By signing up for their loyalty club, I got free wifi. Others here have more to say about hotel features, but as a local let me tell you how great it is to be able to walk 4 blocks to Boston's best subway station! Park Street is a hub for Red Line (direct to South Station trains, Harvard Square, Mass General Hospital and more) plus Green LIne (elegant shopping and Newbury Street.) Furthermore, if you fly into BOS Logan you can get a Silver LIne bus that goes to South Station, and from there take Red Line Subway to Park Street. The room was fine, the staff was pleasant, hotel has a good restaurant and two different bars. Lots of Colonial history also in walking distance. I recommend this as my top choice for a Boston hotel. Coffee maker in room, also a plus. The tap water isn't very nice, another benefit of signing up for loyalty club is that you get a free liter of bottled water.

Room Tip: Double-bed room has a desk and more amenities than the twin-bed mini-room.

The Omni Parker House is an old Hotel. It is a beautiful building and the location is perfect. Because it is old you will not find the flashy designed room that you get from modern hotels. Having said that: If you have a problem with small dingy spaces, make sure to book a category that will allow you to look aout of a window on something else than a brick wall. Have a copy of any written conformation of your room type at hand. You may feel looked down upon if your room reservation was an online deal. Bring ear plugs. If you resgester as a select guest, don't waste time specifying your preferences...it makes no difference. Be prepared to pay for internet access

It's clear that some misunderstandings occurred with this guest's recent stay and we apologize if we were in any way at fault. Select Guest preferences are taken very seriously but some, such as complimentary room upgrades, are not guaranteed. Complimentary WiFi is a "given" as is the morning beverage service. We ask that this guest contact our Select Guest Loyalty Ambassador here at the hotel to make sure that their next stay is outstanding.

Room was clean, staff nice, lobby was great, good location, and reasonably priced relative to other nearby hotels - but the room was the smallest hotel room I've stayed in for a long time. Tiny. Got a king bed and practically had to walk sideways when walking by the bed.

I'm used to small hotel rooms but this was so small it stood out in that respect.

I have stayed at the onyx in the past and while they don't have huge rooms either, it's not quite as small as the Omni. I'll go back to the Onyx next time.

The Omni Parker is in a great location. However, the rooms are very small and dingy. Old decor with paint peeling off of the tub/ shower and the bathroom was so small that sitting on the toilet your knees nearly hit the tub. These hotel rooms need updating.

The hotel bar was nice and the fitness center look better than a lot of hotels. However, I wold not stay at the Omni Parker house again.

While new plumbing and bathroom fixtures (sinks, shower stalls, etc.) have been installed in recent years, the decor, furnishings and atmosphere of the Omni Parker House still impart a particular Victorian/Edwardian elegance and charm. Dark wood paneling, crystal chandeliers and potted plants grace the formal Parker House dining room. However long or short their stay, guests are favored with the spirit of old New England civility and gentility. The location could not be more convenient to Logan Airport, North Station and downtown Boston.

Spent a long weekend here with my wife for our anniversary, have to say location wise it's perfect for pretty much all the places to see and visit in Boston, from the moment we arrived until the moment our cab was hailed for our departure the staff could not have been any nicer. The hotel itself is stunning internally, I have to mention Kate Casey who organised Champagne and Strawberries in our room for our arrival and for choosing room 1422 for us (it was our 22nd anniversary on the 14th March), it's the small touches like that, which remain as highlights in what was already a brilliant break.
