“We Loved the Revere & Its Staff”

We had the pleasure of staying at the Revere Hotel from June 23 – June 27, 2014.

Our room was spacious, well lit with contemporary furnishings. The many amenities included soft bed linens & towels, lighted makeup mirror, a variety of fragrant liquid soaps, and a balcony with a nice view of the city. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure. The house keeping staff was polite & efficient and the room was always kept tidy.

Front desk staff was extremely courteous & helpful. We were most impressed however with the Concierges Richard Peptiglio & Tom Lesney.

After check-in Richard warmly greeted us in the lobby. When we needed to find a nearby business later that day, Richard actually walked us outside to point out its proximity to the hotel. That evening we told Richard what we hoped to visit in Boston. He spent considerable time helping us plan an itinerary, offering several additional suggestions to make our trip more memorable. This included everything from restaurant & theater ideas, various tours of the city, and top attractions not-to-be missed.

On another day when Tom was on duty, he made several restaurant suggestions, going so far as to call them to make sure they were open for us. While we were on a tour, we were too busy to get to the box office to check seating and availability for theatre tickets. Tom personally went to the theatre for us after verifying our seating preferences. He then got the tickets and had them charged to our room.

Behind every great hotel are Concierges like Richard & Tom who provide VALUABLE services to their guests. They certainly helped to make our trip to Boston a great one.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the 10th floor for a better view of the city.

Hands down the best stay I've ever had in a hotel. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights during the Drink Craft Beer festival that was held at the hotel and we were blown away. The staff was incredbly helpful and professional. Tim, the gentleman at the front desk, was super friendly and had us instantly forgetting our long frustrating drive with his charm and wit. Every time we ran into him from that point on he asked how our stay was going in a way that made us know he genuinely cared. The rooms were beautiful and the space for the convention was great. Thanks to Tim and the rest of the staff, we truly had a fantastic time.

Stayed 5 nights while in town for a conference and to see relatives. Location was convenient to the Common, restaurants and historical sights. 2 blocks from a T stop. The room was comfortable and clean.

Best of all, the staff were very helpful and professional. Tim N helped us get settled after check-in and made sure everything was right. The concierge had good suggestions and maps & brochures for a variety of sights and locations.

Wonderful stay and I would go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms to the south a bit quieter.

I spent 2 weeks in this hotel. This is my second stay here. Good location, downtown, just a few minutes walk to Boston common, Newbury street, China town. Staff is friendly. Room cleaning could be better, i'm not sure whether they vacuum-clean everyday. Our housemaid constantly forget to leave complimentary 2 bottles of water , that is not problem of course but looked strange. Bed is good, it was changed everyday. Take in to account that wifi is complimentary but really weak in the morning or from 7p.m. till midnight. I was also wondering why air conditioner is so old, it is noisy when working, i just couldn't sleep it was either hot or noisy - good choice in July!
I'm not sure i would love to stay here again. The hotel is good but ...i would try another else

Thank you for your review and for staying with us for such an extended stay. We greatly appreciate the feedback about the wireless which we are currently upgrading and your housekeeping service - I will discuss your comments with our Director Of Housekeeping.

We only provide two bottles of water complimentary upon check-in your first day and do not replace them daily unless you request them. If we were to replace them daily, it would be an enormous increase in the production of plastic bottles which we try hard to keep to a minimum much like our bath amenities which are large, stationary bottles of Skoah which we refill daily.

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed most aspects of your stay and will use your constructive feedback so we can continue to grow and improve our overall guest experience.

Stayed at the Revere the week of july 7th with my sister and from the moment we arrived the front desk agent Tim greeted us with a glass of champagne upon check-in and made us feel so comfortable as it was our first trip to Boston. Great first impression with this type of hospitality. He definitely is an asset to this hotel. Now for the hotel. I loved the aroma you would get as you walked into the lobby, very zen. Great location for walking to destinations and transportation. The rooftop is awesome for people to mingle the same applies for their lounge. Clean hotel, comfortable beds and good showers. Would definitely recommend and would return. Everything you needed to make your stay like a home away from home Thanks !!

I stayed here for 3 nights last week, while in Boston for a conference. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient to most of the city, including the main shopping, theatre and sightseeing districts.

My room was on 21st floor and I had a great view, including of MIT and the Charles River! While I didn't eat in the hotel, I did enjoy a swim in their pool.

I would happily stay here again when next in this wonderful city.

Upon check in all our bags where taken to our room and the desk staff was so helpful as was the Concierge was very very helpful with where to go and dine and sight see. I was in town for a conference but my wife and nephew had a week to explore the city so it was great having that person to help with information. The room was great as was our total experience...only negative would be the elevators.....very slow and for that size of a hotel there should be twice as many.
I would highly recommend this hotel to all.
