Great place to stay - clean, comfortable and convenient to airport. Check in was pleasant and room was quite impressive with everything needed. I would stay here again. Ask for a city side room as the view is great.

Rooms were nice. Very difficult to get into central Boston without a car. Felt a little discriminated by at the front desk when checking in. Got asked if we wanted one bed or two, we said one (were a same sex couple) and then got told we could have an upgrade but only if we slept apart in the two beds... That was not ok with me. Very insensitive. We already said we wanted the one bed, do I have to wear a sign next time??

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay. We pride ourselves on having the best of both worlds (even though we are located on airport property). We offer 24 hour shuttle service to all the airline terminals as well as a water shuttle that docks directly behind the hotel. The water taxi can take you over to Boston in a matter of minutes without having to deal with traffic in the tunnels. I am very disaapointed to hear you felt you were discriminated against during the check in process. If you would like to contact me to discuss that further I am available at 617-568-1234 or email michael.hickey@hyatt.com.

Hotel is an airport hotel in need of some updating that is surrounded by runways and airport parking. If your willing to pay for the convenience of being close to the airport ,book it. If your planning on visiting Boston you may want to stay in Boston proper. The daily parking rate is $37. What really is surprising is they charge you to use the lobby computers. (6 bucks for 15 minutes). $12 bucks for Wifi
Rooms were clean but not well soundproofed for hallway noise. A nice view of the Boston skyline but your staying on a very unattractive side of the Harbor.
All that being said the staff is very attentive and pleasant and they do try to make your stay as pleasant as possible

Room Tip: Get a harbor view otherwise your looking at the back of the airport. Stay at far end of hall, may ha...

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am disapointed to hear that you experienced some noise issues (specifically from the hallway) during your stay. We are excited to be undergoing a room renovation later this year that address some of those noise issues. if your travels bring you back to the Boston area we would love an opportunity to have you stay with us again.

When my Emirates flight got cancelled and the Boston Emirates staff sent more customers than agreed to the Hyatt, I ended up stranded with 6 other travelers in the Hyatt reception as they simply did not have more rooms.

The front desk staff apologized and took it upon them to contact Emirates, then contact the other candidate hotel, verify that they indeed had enough rooms, and arranged for that hotel's shuttle to meet the Hyatt shuttle for an easy transfer.

Kudos!

Was the perfect location, an incredible view of Boston, and very friendly and efficient service around the hotel. Recommend to use the water taxis. No worries about the airport being just beside the hotel, never heard one plane

My wife was due to fly out of Logan when her flight was cancelled and Emirates Airlines arranged for a room at the Hyatt Boston Harbor Hotel.... From disaster to pure enjoyment in a matter of less than a half mile. She was transporting vaccines with her to Kabul and we asked the Hyatt if we could get a refrigerator to store them in and could they freeze the ice packs that she was using them to keep them cold in one of her bags... no problem, a refrigerator was delivered to the room and when it turned out to be too small, they brought a bigger one... the ice packs were taken somewhere and in the morning hard frozen for re-use.. that is just the service comments, the room faced the Boston Skyline and what a great view over the water. It was late as we went down to grab a bite to eat ( 10pm),at the Harbor Side Grill, no problem they served a limited menu until midnight. We were able to sit outside on their patio, which had a variety of seating options, ie regular table, couches with fire pits, chairs on grass - all facing the harbor. After a stressful experience at the airport here was the chance to relax and enjoy a delightful evening. My wife had a glass of wine with the Spiced Duck Bao off their all day menu, and I just had chicken wings off their Tapas menu, but they were both delicious. The beds were great, and at 6am in the morning the ice packs were waiting for us and we were able to get to Logan in just minutes...The staff was great, and made everything easy for us. I have a conference every year in Boston and had never thought about staying on this side of the harbor, but I will certainly consider that now. ( the only negative is that the in room wifi was weak and went in and out, but we did not call the front desk about it because we were ready for bed after dinner)

Room Tip: Harbor side for the view

We had Boston/harbor view rooms on the 9th floor and found the view spectacular. The rooms were as we expected for an upscale place, although the hallway noise coming through the door was a little louder than we expected.

We enjoyed walking along the harbor on a lovely little walk area that took you to a nice little neighborhood if you followed it around far enough to the right. We didn't end up sitting there, but if we'd had a little more time, we'd have had a late night snack and nightcap on the outdoor patio with firepits looking at the lights of Boston.

We stayed for just one night to depart out of Logan the next day, and it was an easy shuttle ride in the morning, and we were glad we had this end-of-trip splurge to finish our New England vacation.

Room Tip: I would not pay this room amount without a harbor view. It's definitely the reason to come.
