“Fix the Bugs”

I think this hotel is beautiful but I did see numerous little bugs with wings and one long pinching type bug. We were on the 11th floor and I found it odd that the bugs could go up so many floors. The bellhops were amazing though and were very friendly.

Location is great, downtown, close to South Station. Rooms and all facilities are clean; staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I didn't experience any problems during check-in, my stay or check-out. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful! We had a king sized bed with a suite that included a pull out bed for our two kids ages 10 and 13. The reason I gave it a four star was only because the pull out was very small and uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect. I believe that this hotel used to be The Intercontinental Hotel and Hilton must have bought it and redid it. Anyway, for an older hotel, it is very well taken care of , no old hotel smells like some old hotels that we've stayed in. The bed was comfy. Bathroom was really clean. No complaints! Faneuil Hall is a very short walk away. The North End is close as well as Boston Common and Boston Garden. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: 7th floor room. King w/suite #729 away from everything. No noises. At the end of the hall.

Overall very good experience. Location was a top priority for us so that we would be close to shopping transportation and restaurants. We would have preferred a hotel with a larger lobby and normally would select one much newer, but considering everything the value we received was commensurate.

For starters, I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to with this hotel. While staff were generally quite friendly, the room accommodations in this place are let's say 'scuzzy'. If you like an air conditioner that doesn't work and if you like to sleep in 80 degree heat then this is the place for you. If you like a clogged bathtub where the water is 2 feet deep when you're done and filled with pubic hair from the last 100 guests that stayed there and that pubic hair is stuck to your feet, then this is the place for you. If you like filthy floors that when your kids crawl around, their feet and knees are black with dirt, then this is the place for you. On the contrary, very friendly doormen and they will go out of their way to help you.

just got back from a 5 night stay at this hotel and it was fantastic. the room, hotel location and staff were all excellent. the only complaint i had was with some jerk who kept coming in (or going out) at 4am and slammed his door every single night. moron!

Overall a nice stay. At check in, I mentioned that I had been sent an email a few days before arriving, asking me if I would be interested in upgrading to a king suite for an additional 36.00 per day. I responded back, saying that I was interested. The clerk said it would be 50.00 per day; however, when I showed him the email that had been sent by Hilton, he agreed to the 36.00 additional rate. Our room was very large and spacious, but the air conditioner was blowing warm air. After contacting the front desk, a repair person came very quickly and fixed the problem. The bedroom area was very nice, but the furniture in the sitting area was thread bare, as the stuffing was visible. My only other complaint was in the bar. I was seated at the bar with two of my daughters in-law. As the bartender was using a beer tap, he sprayed beer all over my dress, arm, and face. When I called his attention to it he laughed. He did not apologize, offer a towel, or offer any compensation.
