Rooms were spotlessly clean, food was good, staff were friendly... no complaints at all.

Room Tip: Don't go near the lifts! A few people complained about the noise.

Attended a tradeshow and stayed here. It was wonderful being so close to the venue so I did not have to drive in Boston. The hotel was fablous. Loved the recycling and the gym.

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center, and could not have been more pleased! Free wi-fi, great Keurig coffee maker in room, nice Frette linens on the very comfortable beds. Loved the marble floors in the bathroom, and the bath amenities provided. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the hotel's proximity to the convention center is great. Perfect blend of business-friendly with a little luxury thrown in. Would stay here again in a minute!

I've stayed at the Seaport Boston Hotel many times and it is always astounding how excellent the room, service, restaurants, on-site spa/swimming/exercise and nearby walking paths, restaurants and sight-seeing opportunities. The staff at the Seaport are what makes it so great!!! Whether checking-in, dining, enjoying your immaculately clean room, or consulting the concierge, you are always treated like Royalty. I've stayed for business and for family vacation, and it is always a delight.

Spending a long weekend in Boston we stayed at Seaport and we did a great decision, spacious and very well equiped rooms, excellent Gym and pool, excellent Thanksgiving dinner, and the best is the staff, great attitude and so friendly with everyone, from the doorman, reception, housekkeping, and restaurant, all great. Well done we will be back. Thank you.

This hotel was very pretty, and we enjoyed the fact that it is truly a no gratuities accepted facility. However, after staying at the hotel, we discovered that we had become the victims of identity theft, and we were able to trace the transactions back to the hotel based on our pattern of usage and the credit card information that was stolen. When we alerted the hotel, however, we were given a total runaround and treated as if the issue was solely our problem. We advise avoiding this hotel because they don't care about this important security issue. If you do stay there, check your credit card statement carefully--they also charged us for water we didn't drink and placed a $50 hold on our card that eventually was removed, but it was still an odd charge in today's electronic market.

Room Tip: The rooms with a view are nice but hardly worth the money. Save your cash for the water taxis.

SeaportGM, General Manager at Seaport Boston Hotel, responded to this reviewResponded 5 December 2011

As General Manager of the hotel, I must accept full responsibility for the poor follow up on this guest's issue. I was notified about this in a timely manner. As a result of our investigation and review of all documentation, it was clear there was no fraud. This guest was charged inadvertently for a bottled water, and for that, I apologize. The charge was promptly removed. You were expecting a call from me and you should have received it. I just left a voice mail message for you, and will follow up later this week when I return to the office. Again, my most sincere apology for my poor follow through.

Kind regards,

James M. Carmody
Vice President & General Manager

My fiance and I went down to Boston for the MNF game featuring the Patriots and Chiefs. We stayed at the Seaport because of its proximity to South Station. This hotel was extremely clean, well kept, and in a safe location. The staff was extremely helpful when asked questions about the area, and there were always cabs waiting outside. We did not pay for the harbour view room, but still had a harbour view, so don't waste the extra money. The beds were also extremely comfortable, and there is a fridge and safe in the room.

This hotel is only a ten minute walk from South Station, where you can catch the Patriots Train on gameday. I strongly recommend this train as a way of getting to the stadium. There is a 7-11 convenience store and Dunkin Donuts right next to the hotel, and just down the street there is a pub called the Whiskey Priest (excellent food) and a Sports Bar called the Atlantic Beer Garden (tons of high-def tvs, and cheap beer). The Barking Crab (best seafood in Boston) is also a short walk from this hotel.

Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel because of its convenience to South Station, excellent service, cleanliness, and the amenities around it. If you are going to catch a Pats game, or are just visiting Boston, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: Room 831. View of the harbour
