I had a 4 day conference which I was attending at the Boston Harborside Westin. Being a little disenchanted at the room rates (as well as the add-on extras for everything, it seems, from WiFi to gym use), I came across the Seaport Hotel located an easy walk away. This hotel and the staff are superb. My check-in process was seamless. I was able to use the excellent gym facilities for free everyday: cardiovascular equipment galore, a nice lap pool, free weights, circuit weights as well as extras like Bosu balls, mats, etc. Free wifi throughout the hotel, a Bose radio, and nice toiletries were extra nice perks. The staff even lent me an umbrella to use on my final day AFTER I had already checked out. I attempted to tip the bellhop to check my suitcase and he politely declined. This is also a superior location to the Westin as it is right on the waterfront. The T Silver Line is located just across the street. What a convenient, pleasant stay. My only complaint was the noisy and drunk group of Prom-going high school students that came back to their room at 1am and proceeded to carry-on in the hallway. Security was on that situation like a fly on a cow patty. Kudos.

Some pictures of our stay at this wonderful hotel. Out of the traffic snarl that is Boston proper, just 11 miles from Logan by water taxi or car. This hotel is a luxury location.

Room Tip: The southeast side, upper floor, have spectacular views of Boston Harbor, planes taking off from Log...

This hotel offers the right amount of luxury and service. I love everything about it. Check-in was smooth with professional and pleasant staff. The room is large with modern amenities: Keurig coffee machine, flat screen TV, Bose clock radio with AUX cable to connect your iPod, Gilchrist and Soames pump soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. FREE INTERNET WIRED AND WIRELESS! The fitness center is super nice with plenty of equipments, steam room, and lap pool. Breakfast buffet is very well done and reasonably price ~$20. Check out is quick and oh so efficient storing and retrieving your luggage for the remaining of the day. The hotel is so close to the airport by the $2 fare bus Silver Line 1. Location is not immediately downtown but if you have to attend an event at the World Trade Center, the location can't be beat. It is also easy by bus connecting to the T (free transfer) to go anywhere in Boston. This is luxury the way it should be. Love this hotel!

Stayed at the Seaport during a business trip. It had all the amenities and was very comfortable. The room was updated and had everything I needed plus some. All staff were friendly and would definitely recommend a stay at the Seaport when in Boston.

My wife and I, joined by our 3 year-old son and 6 month-old daughter spent two nights here in early April. We read many great reviews beforehand and must say that they were right on. The rooms were well appointed and we had enough space for us all, and we don't travel light. The service was exceptional, from the front desk to the concierge service. The availability of a shuttle bus to the the historical sights and the aquarium was an excellent touch. A Dunkin' Donuts right across the street was nice for the grown ups. The pool was great at night with a view of the city lights of Boston. Even the elevator directly to the parking garage made this trip as easy as possible for the caravan that is my family. In short, we would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone we know.

Great hotel! Great location!
But, that can be said of many Boston-area facilities.
The key to this one is the staff and their focus on service.
From the doorman to the front desk to the concierge to the
bartenders, they "get it."
Attentive, friendly and efficient -- and, always with a smile.
My next trip to Beantown is a "no-brainer."
In my book, the "C"-port gets an "A" !

Room Tip: Ask for a good view of the Haaabor!
