“CLEAN, GREAT LOCATION, FRIENDLY STAFF, A++ HOTEL”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

My family and I booked our stay through Priceline.com for a great price. The Hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very easy to find (ok, I used my GPS). Check-in took no longer than 7 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The room (8th floor) was CLEAN & well situated. The room has a large flat screen TV, wired and wireless internet access, and a small refrigerator. Make sure you bring a case of water (small bottles) to store in the refrigerator. The hotel charges $2 per bottle if you take the ones that are in the fridge. Another money saver (if you're looking to save $$), is to walk across the street to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel will cost you an arm & a leg. D&D makes hot breakfast too. Be advised that the hotel charges an additional $35 per day to park your car. I wasn't expecting that. Being from NYC, I should've known better. Parking in any big city comes at a premium. Use public transportation. I found it to be quite simple to use, and easily accessible. Not to mention that parking in Boston is very expensive. We took the train to the Red Sox game. I saw signs for parking "$45". I would definitely stay at The SEAPORT BOSTON HOTEL again.

We stayed here during a conference after we were unable to get transportation to work out while staying out by the airport and commuting in to the convention center. The Seaport staff were incredibly helpful. Not only did find us a room they found us an excellent room for an amazing rate. Our room was excellent with a great view. The room was fairly spacious. We loved every minute of our experience and they were really nice to our little one. He did not want to leave when check out time arrived. Great hotel, nice furnishings, and great staff. The lobby was comfortable and it was great for breakfast having a traditional breakfast available as well as good ol' Starbucks. Dunkin' Donuts was also close by. Very brief walk to the convention center and the staff was quite helpful in helping you navigate Boston and in making great recommendations. The little Italian carry out place down the street was amazing

I will say the neighborhood isn't the greatest place for fining out. Also, the room service at the Seaport fumbled on the chicken fingers we ordered for our little guy sending us some charred remains of a chicken and a side order of overdone fries. I didn't complain but what do you expect having a hotel kitchen prepare something one would usually find at a fast food restaurant.

Room Tip: Let the staff help you out here. Hey it's Boston, lots of great views to be had.

It is great to hear that we were helpful in providing accommodations for your family and overall you enjoyed your visit. I am disappointed to learn about our ‘fumble’ on the chicken fingers yet pleased to learn your youngest family member still had an enjoyable visit. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you for taking the time to provide a review.

My wife and I booked this hotel last minute after we decided to stay overnight in Downtown Boston. We found a really good price at the Priceline Website on the evening of the stay.
Reviews on this hotel are spot on!. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The room was also well equipped with all the modern accessories and toiletries. The HVAC in this room was also modern with what I believe was variable speed fan controls, so no annoying cycling of the AC System while you are trying to sleep. Excellent!!!
Walking distance to all the Boston Inner Harbor Sites. We ate at the Legal Test Kitchen (LTK) down the street in the evening and picked up breakfast at the Starbucks inside the hotel facility.

First off didn't have twin room we booked --- had to wait quite a while for 'one to become available' -- had a feeling things were not starting off well and boy was I right.
Room finally given, as I discovered after an unbelievably noisy first night, was adjacent to the wall beside cleaning/maintenance staff elevator and storage area.
Really noisy!!!! -- My partner who can sleep through anything commented on the noise which included continual banging of carts against wall, squeaking of staff elevator doors opening and shutting, loud conversations and laughing among employees, and banging of the door to the area (this noise was all day/night!)
After first night we both had more than enough...so disappointing. Complained to front desk in early am and was switched to another room away from the elevators --gave complementary breakfast...so think they've encountered this issue before and probably this is nothing new to them -- think they give these rooms out when overbooked. See other similar comments in trip advisor . Decent enough hotel but if you are staying MAKE SURE you are FAR away from elevators the staff use!

Room Tip: MAKE SURE you are FAR away from elevators the staff use!!!!

We stayed at The Seaport Hotel as we were attending the Red Bull Cliff diving off a building almost across the street. We usually stay in the Back Bay area. The hotel and the staff could not have been better. Parking was very easy and many restaurants in the area. We will stay here again during our next visit to Boston.

First time at this hotel and loved it. Very clean, nicely appointed rooms, very quiet in the room, comfortable bed. Was there for a conference; food served at breakfast and lunch was some of the best hotel food I've had. Onsite pool was great as was the full fitness center (a membership type place so outside people do use it, no charge to guests). Free wireless throughout the hotel and was fast at all times. Hotel has a great location; within walking distance of everything; sightseering, great dining options, etc. Subway station right outside to take you to the airport or anywhere else you need to go; taxi's also readily available. I also noted families staying here so its not exclusively business. I highly recommend this hotel for anything that brings you to the fun city of Boston.

Room Tip: Don't think there is a bad choice here.

We stayed at the Seaport Hotel for my cousins wedding and had a wonderful experience. We live in the area and used to live in the city but this was our first time staying at the Seaport. It was a perfect location and very easy on/off highway. The staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean and have all the amenities you could ask for. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others seeking a hotel in this area of the city.
