“Excellent Accomodations at the Seaport Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

The Seaport Hotel is a great place to stay. I like the "No Tipping" policy and the employees are happy to serve you. The location is great and there is a lot to see and do very near the hotel. The in / out parking (I could enter and exit the parking garage as many times as I needed to), was extremely helpful as my daughter was getting married and I had to run many errands Friday and Saturday.

Room Tip: Great rooms.

Very high quality hotel. Maybe a bit pricey but that's Boston for you so to be expected. Really comfortable and clean rooms. Plenty of space. Very frlendly and helpful housekeeping and front desk staff. Breakfast in the hotel is expensive and few other choices in walking distance other than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Decor is quite 'classical' and if anything makes the place feel older than it is. Parking generally is a problem in Boston. The area if full of vacant lots used as parking spaces but you can expect to pay $35+ for overnight parking.

Room Tip: We didn't have a waterfront view. Didn't bother us but worth asking for that if it's imp...

We chose the Seaport to spend our 1st anniversary at and are so happy we did. They went out of their way to make us feel special as soon as we checked in. Our room was amazing, so clean and so comfortable, one of the best beds I've ever slept in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is so much to do in the area, great restaurants and fanuel hall and the north end are a short 10-15 minute walk away. We will most definitely be back!

Only was here for one night but it was probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in in Boston. Everything was clean and rooms were spacious and up to date. Great location with plenty of restaurants and bars. Claudia at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly as well. Will stay again.

Great hotel, nice rooms. all the usual stuff you would expect. Room service was very nice and good portions. Although there are now lots of restaurants near by to visit instead.
the breakfast was included and included a good selection of options and the waiters were very accommodating with anything you needed.

My family and I booked our stay through Priceline.com for a great price. The Hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very easy to find (ok, I used my GPS). Check-in took no longer than 7 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The room (8th floor) was CLEAN & well situated. The room has a large flat screen TV, wired and wireless internet access, and a small refrigerator. Make sure you bring a case of water (small bottles) to store in the refrigerator. The hotel charges $2 per bottle if you take the ones that are in the fridge. Another money saver (if you're looking to save $$), is to walk across the street to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel will cost you an arm & a leg. D&D makes hot breakfast too. Be advised that the hotel charges an additional $35 per day to park your car. I wasn't expecting that. Being from NYC, I should've known better. Parking in any big city comes at a premium. Use public transportation. I found it to be quite simple to use, and easily accessible. Not to mention that parking in Boston is very expensive. We took the train to the Red Sox game. I saw signs for parking "$45". I would definitely stay at The SEAPORT BOSTON HOTEL again.

We stayed here during a conference after we were unable to get transportation to work out while staying out by the airport and commuting in to the convention center. The Seaport staff were incredibly helpful. Not only did find us a room they found us an excellent room for an amazing rate. Our room was excellent with a great view. The room was fairly spacious. We loved every minute of our experience and they were really nice to our little one. He did not want to leave when check out time arrived. Great hotel, nice furnishings, and great staff. The lobby was comfortable and it was great for breakfast having a traditional breakfast available as well as good ol' Starbucks. Dunkin' Donuts was also close by. Very brief walk to the convention center and the staff was quite helpful in helping you navigate Boston and in making great recommendations. The little Italian carry out place down the street was amazing

I will say the neighborhood isn't the greatest place for fining out. Also, the room service at the Seaport fumbled on the chicken fingers we ordered for our little guy sending us some charred remains of a chicken and a side order of overdone fries. I didn't complain but what do you expect having a hotel kitchen prepare something one would usually find at a fast food restaurant.

Room Tip: Let the staff help you out here. Hey it's Boston, lots of great views to be had.

It is great to hear that we were helpful in providing accommodations for your family and overall you enjoyed your visit. I am disappointed to learn about our ‘fumble’ on the chicken fingers yet pleased to learn your youngest family member still had an enjoyable visit. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you for taking the time to provide a review.
