“Good value for Boston”
Reviewed 13 October 2013

We stayed here before leaving on a cruise. The hotel is convenient to the cruise terminal but is also walking distance to downtown and the Freedom Trail. If you are a good walker you can even walk to the north End from here. The hotel itself is new and modern with free wifi. The beds are comfortable but the rooms are not overly spacious...but adequate. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely rooms. Corner room w connecting room was very spacious. Comfortable. Convenient to convention center. Some very nice places to eat nearby. Opportunity to dress up and have nice meal without long walk or drive. Easy stroll or jog in my case to downtown Boston. Nice steam sauna available with workout area free to guest.
I enjoyed!

This is a beautiful hotel located in the Seaport District of Boston. Most hotel rooms have direct or partial harbor views. It's also convenient linked via a bridge to Boston's World Trade Center and linked to the MBTA WTC station via another bridge. The Financial District is only 10 minutes away if you walk and one quick stop away by MBTA Silver Line. There is a small but nice sculpture park adjacent to the hotel. The hotel bar has decent food and drinks at reasonable prices and it remains open until 1AM on some nights - great if you need a late night bite. However, please be aware that the bar charges a mandatory 18% or 20% gratuity to the bill. The hotel room that I stayed in was very well appointed and very clean. If you visit Boston for business or pleasure, you won't need a rental car. Just buy a multi-day Charlie Pass and combine the public transportation with occasional taxi rides. (Parking at the hotel costs $36/night, steep but in line with the location.) Downtown Boston is small and even Cambridge (where Harvard and MIT are located) is only approximately 30 minutes away by public transportation, including wait time.

Overall, I'm giving this hotel a five based on its quality, location and value.

First time in Boston and selected hotel based on trip advisor reviews. Very pleased. Hotel is very lovely, great location, staff was excellent. Views from the room I got were wonderful. Nice area allowing walks along the waterfront. Safe area and lots of activity. Rooms are quiet. I am very particular about beds and this one was great, I slept very well. Staff was very supportive and attentive. The gym/work out area is extremely well supplied - I was impressed they had everything I could need and I am a daily workout person. Unfortunately steam room was not working but there was a notice to inform customers of closure. Lap pool and facilities were very nice and clean. The lobby bar is very nice, staff was extremely helpful and remembered our drinks even though there was a convention going on. I did miss my chocolate at night - but that's okay. Onsite parking is also available for a fee. I would definately recommend and will stay again. Great Staff.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the harbor - higher floors, less noise.

We are Bostonians and now live in NH. Very often we will spend the weekend in Boston to see a show, do some shopping, or go to a great restaurant. I have stayed at this hotel during a trade show and liked it. This time we stayed on a get away weekend. It was just perfect. For those of you visiting Boston don't miss the Seaport area. Lots of great restaurant!!! The staff at the hotel could not be any nicer. My wife mentioned it was our anniversary and to our great pleasure chocolate strawberries appeared in our room!!!
The rooms are spacious and modern, the beds comfortable, and the service was perfect. If you want to go downtown it is a 20 minute walk. A very easy 20 minute walk. Lots to see and do on the way. Also a T stop is nearby. Take the T to South Station and hop on the red line. It is that easy. Ask for a room facing the harbor.
Also...tipping is included in your room rate (includes the restaurant). The hotel employees even tell you so!!!
Enjoy this hotel. It is a gem in a great new section of Boston.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the harbor.

The staff in the hotel was very friendly, especially the lady at concierge desk and the nice guys serving us breakfast. The breakfast buffet was quite expensive but with a lot of alternatives to choose. But we missed some fresh vegetables in addition to fruits. This was the first hotel for a long time with beds soft enough to provide a good night sleep.

The location turned out to be quite good as soon as we discovered the easy route to downtown using the Silver line.
