We cannot fault the XV, the room was exceptional both in decor and cleanliness, the bed one of the most comfortable ever tried in a hotel. The service within the hotel and Moo Restaurant/Bar faultless The food delicious both in the restaurant as well as room service. If there were two minor criticisms these would be no bath tub in the bathroom and the reception lobby area is very small and does not lend itself to being utilised as an area to read/relax for more than just two or three people. Would definately recommend for leisure or business in Boston.

We spent four delightful nights in this historic beautifully refurbished hotel. Our large room had a gas fireplace, a built in music center and a fully stocked mini-bar. Cheerful doormen were always on duty as well as a very helpful concierge. Transportation was provided by hotel cars to anywhere we wanted to go in Boston. We really enjoyed being in walking distance of the North End and Long Wharf. The hotel is in a great, central location convenient to many of Boston's attractions.

We had an amazing stay at XV Beacon. My wife and I stayed on the 9th floor for two nights visiting Boston and in all the city hotels we have stayed in over the world this was possibly the best.
The staff are also of the highest standard, very helpful and efficient at all times.
We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when we next visit the city.

I took my boyfriend here for the weekend since it was his birthday. We also brought our dog. We just loved this hotel. Everybody was especially accomodating & friendly. Our dog got the royal treatment since they gave her warm peanut butter dog treats on a plate w/"Welcome" written in peanut butter. Very cute. We stayed in the Studio sized room which was large enough and had amazing views of Beacon Street. The bathroom was also generous and liked having the tv in there so you could watch something while showering. The rain shower was very strong. We loved the use of the free Lexus to take us out to restaurants and clubs at night. We have to give our special thanks to Mark who took car of us by getting us on the guestlist of a club we wanted to attend one night. We liked his recommendations for nightlife. The location of the hotel is perfect esp. if you have a dog since Boston Common is across the street. I can't wait to return.

I cannot say a single negaitive about our trip to Boston - the service from the staff was so good i swear they were telepathic - they sort of knew what i wanted before i even asked.
We got two complimentary tickets to the museum of fine arts which was a lovely touch. And the restaurant Moo Moo was great value for lunch and tasty too

We stayed at the beginning and end of our New England trip and the XV Beacon was a great way to start and end the trip. The location is excellent --- we were able to walk to Newberry St, the Common and Fanieul Hall areas very easily. We were celebrating our anniversary and we had champagne the first night from the hotel. On the return trip we had champagne, chocolates and a room upgrade. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were roomy and we really liked the extra amenities like the lip balm!

The conceirge team was very helpful in preplanning for us and in fact identified an issue with the reservation that I'd made through Amex. Luckily I was able to get that straightened out before we arrived.

The house car was handy for a quick trip back to the airport but they left us waiting at Hertz for over an hour. They had my cell number so a courtesy call would have been nice to let us know they were going to be late.

We loved the restaurant Moo. In fact we ate dinner there the second night because it was so yummy the first night we went there.

The work out room was ridiculously small but that's to be expected at a small hotel.

Overall, we had a great stay and the staff really went out of there way to make our stay and anniversary celebration special.

XV Beacon is an amazing hotel. Last Christmas I we stayed at the Four Seasons, and XV Beacon was much better on many levels. The staff was very personal, and the attention to our needs was met with the highest regards. We had to bring our dog with us, and the hotel baked him special treats, and helped to make sure he was equally as comfortable as we were. The location was perfect as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted, and when we needed a car, the hotel was happy to drive us. Moo, the restaurant downstairs, is amazing! In fact Moo has been the best American Hotel dining experience for myself.
