We stayed for three nights and found the whole experience pleasurable. The staff are very friendly and the location is great. Subway stations very close and you are close to the Prudential centre for shopping etc. The room was very large and has all the facilities required, iron, kettle etc but a fridge would have been nice for some milk. The hotel in general is quite dated but it is very clean and comfortable.

Would stay here again happily!

This hotel was recommended by our Travel Agent in the UK, it was a perfect location, 5 minute walk to Copley Place mall and Prudential Mall. We were at the back of the hotel so we were away from the main Huntington Avenue traffic,so it was very quiet. Heating system is a little outdated, quite noisy but the room heated up quickly so wasn't too much of a problem. Staff extremely helpful, courteous and knew a lot about the local area. Great room size, two double beds, very clean, bed linen changed daily if you wished. Right opposite is the Mary Baker Eddy Church and library, you must visit this!
No restaurant, but the Food Court in Copley mall about 5-6 minutes walk away provides lots of variety from breakfast through to supper.
Boston Common and Public Gardens are a 10-15 minute walk away.
We would definitely recommend this for a first time visit to Boston.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the back of the hotel away from the main road.

As long as your expectations aren't high, this is a great place. The location is truly awesome, you're really close to a lot. We walked to quite a few places. The hotel is clean. Slightly dated, a little noisy. But if you are doing a quick touristy trip to Boston and want easy access to everywhere you want to go, it's a pretty good bet. They do charge for parking though.

My mom and I stayed there last week for 4 nights and had a great stay there. The staff were so approachable and friendly, especially Mark. The rooms are a great size (2 double beds) and so clean. We had an in-room safe which was brilliant. The ensuite was spotless. The location was perfect, the nearest subways are Symphony Hall and Prudential. There are also 2 shopping malls close by, Copley and Prudential Mall. You are also within walking distance of Newbury street and Boylston street. A little further past Boylston is Boston Common and Capitol Hill (well worth a visit). The hotel is surrounded by much larger hotels, The Sheraton, The Westin etc... but for us it was the perfect hotel and totally recommend it, so much so that we are already planning our trip back next year

Well suited for peeps staying just 1 night - we stayed 3! No restaurant so we had to walk around to find food at night and early morning. Old place, well heated, big bedroom with 2 queen beds, room comfy but noisy from traffic and neighbours, bathroom was 'open' so no privacy at all. Shower dripped water slowly so rather useless, thin walls. Very basic. Outside the city so public transport essential.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.
