“St Paddy's in Beantown”

Stayed from March 14th until the 18th and could not have had a better location to participate in many of the St Patrick's Weekend celebration. For anyone visiting, the convienience of the subway stop outside cannot be beat! Within walking distance to see the Bruins at the Gardens or a quick ride on the T to Fenway . The South Church and Freedom Trail are a short walk away .
It was our second stay there in the last two years and once again we left happy .Renos are completed and the place looks great .The room was very comfortable and clean., the staff friendly and helpful ( yes even Steve lol).
Kudos to all at the Harborside

Room Tip: Top floors are very quiet. No issue waiting for an elevator.

For the price this is unbeatable and was by far one of the best hotels I stayed in while in the US. It's also one of the few hotels, that really has character and it not your standard hotel as many in the chain hotels.
I love the idea of the restaurant and bar being open to the public and really makes it lively. Great thing is that the bar has it's own entrance and it's not as if loads of people walls through the reception area to get there.
The room I had was really big, with a great TV as well as a DVD player. The bathroom is of a reasonable size and also was one of the few hotels that didn't have a shower/ bath combo, but a big shower only. Over all the room is hard to beat, even for some 4 star hotels I stayed in.
I understand that there are different rooms types according to the window. My room had a window to the inside of the building, but it didn't really matter.

Thsi hotel is a boutique hotel that has an array of different rooms. We choose a room without windows in the basement for the kids and it was a great room. Spacious with a giant TV, this room was loved by our kids (cabin 2). As for us we rented a room with a interior view. The rooms were clean and confortable but a bit overheated. Everything was efficient. The Aquarium station ins directly in front of the hotel and you are across the street from Faneuil hall market place were you can eat anything. Parking is pricey, the hotel has special deal with the 75 state street parking but i think there is a better deal around.

Room Tip: Choose a room without windows or with an interior view. You will pay less and have good quality...

After much research I decided on the Harborside Inn for a long weekend with my husband. We were looking for a great hotel in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. This place was perfect and for a more reasonable price than most hotels in the same area. I would suggest paying the few extra dollars for the city view.
The hotel is very clean. The T stop is right outside the front door. It's in walking distance to Quicy Market, the North End and Beacon Hill. There are lots of Irish pubs, sports bars and restaurants in the area. The lounge in the hotel is very nice.
Keep in mind there is no gym and no coffee in the room. There is a small cafe which serves Starbucks coffee and most of their specialty drinks along with assorted baked goods.
My only complaint were the towels. They were not soft at all. I'm not expecting luxurious towels but something better than card board.
I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends.

My wife and I stayed here towards the end of February. The hotel is in a very central and convenient location, and for us, represented good value for money. The hotel is located directly outside the Aquarium stop on the blue line, which connects directly to the airport. You just have to take a short shuttle bus ride from the terminal to the subway. After about two stops, you reach Aquarium and the hotel entrance is directly outside.

We arrived around noon or 1pm and the hotel kindly checked us in early so we could drop our bags and begin our day of site seeing. They also let us drop our bags the day of checkout so we could do more sightseeing and then pick them up later in the afternoon. You get an actual, old school, metal key (no keycard).

We booked a King Atrium view room and it exceeded our expectations. I think it was room 307, which was an interior corner room. It was very large, with a table and chairs for eating, a lounge seat, and a desk area with chair. The bathroom was very large as well with a nice walk in shower (no tub); it was very clean. Water pressure was outstanding and hot water was never an issue. Housekeeping did a great job.

It took us a little while to figure out the heat and lighting but once we figured it out there were no issues. We might have just gotten lucky with the hotel not being full but overall we found the room very quiet. We heard no road noise, no traffic noise, and no subway noise either. There is a bar/lounge in the lobby and we didn’t hear any noise from that either. We heard someone playing surround sound music (this is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that had surround sound speakers attached to the TV) next to us one evening but luckily it wasn’t when we were trying to sleep.

The hotel does not have a gym, hotel restaurant, bellhop services or tea/coffee in the room. Although we missed having a gym, not having the rest were not a big deal to us. There are computers downstairs where you can print your boarding passes. Nearby, there are a ton of places to eat and we didn’t have any trouble finding food. If you are looking for a sit down, full American breakfast you might have to go a little further afield for that. The hotel also has a computer station with some computers hooked up to the internet and a printer in the lobby, which proved to be very helpful in printing out boarding passes for our flight back.

My wife and I were very happy with this hotel. The price for the location is outstanding, and it was very nice, clean, and the staff was great. We highly recommend this hotel.

This is the closest hotel to Faneuil hall and the best price for it. The rooms are small, but you don't really hang out in the hotel anyway. There is a bar downstairs and a Starbucks in the hotel. The beds are pretty soft, there are fridges, and nice water pressure in the shower. I recommend this stay and would stay there again. I stayed because I went to a concert at TD Garden, and this was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the concert. The aquarium is right across the street, and Quincy market is two side streets over. You can't get a better location.

Room Tip: rooms are small, but they have a fridge. Beds are comfortable, and the location is amazing.
