The Colonnade is an excellent hotel. Great location near Prudential/Copley, easy access to Back Bay and South End. Friendly staff and good service. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good value for rate.

Modern hotel (newly renovated) in a great Boston location! Just opposite the Prudential shopping centre with the entrance to the prudential subway station located a few feet from the main entrance the location is hard to fault. Newbury street is on the other side of the Prudential centre and it's safely within walking distance of downtown Boston.
The staff was helpful, the service was upscale, the rooms modern and spacious. HD TV in all rooms. Great views on one side of the hotel! Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Front facing room has the best views!

We went here for our 2nd anniversary and I had booked it becuase of the rooftop pool. The hotel was great, very clean, nice pool and the food service was good too! The concierege was outstanding his name was Jerry and he was so wonderful to us!! We told him we were ceebrating our anniversary and he set up reservations at a nearby restaurant that treated us amazing, and sent up sparkling water and fruit for after! He had a vast knowledge of Boston and was very helpful in us deciding what to do. The hotel was so accomodating to anything we needed, room service took no more the 20 minutes anytime we ordered, staff was friendly and welcoming. Even when we checked out Norman who helped us with our bags went out of his way to make our exit easy!! Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel, won't stay anywhere else!

We have stayed every year and the reason we come back is one of your employees.
Norman Maines! He is your best asset. Extremely helpful, friendly, amd makes us feel like family! My daughter looks forward to seeing him every year and loves that he always remembers her! He is quite honestly the best. Thank you for having such a wonderful person working there!

We stayed at the Colonnade this past weekend and were very pleased! We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were very clean and comfy. Hotel looks older from the outside but the rooms have all been redone and are very nice. Beds and bedding are very comfy!! Nice large windows to check out the streets below. Table and 2 chairs was perfect for kids to have a snack.

Rooftop pool was a definite plus. Kids enjoyed a swim while we had a drink - a nice relaxing way to spend a couple hours in the afternoon.

Front desk staff, concierge, bell man all very courteous and friendly.

Restaurant staff were very nice and attentive. We ate breakfast in the restaurant both mornings (we had a rate that included it) and breakfast was very nice. Kids breakfast menu included everything they could want. Nice way to start the day.

Hotel is located across from Prudential Center. T stop and Orange and Green Tour Trolley stops are here. Red (Gray Line Tour) trolley stop is a block away at the Sheraton. We walked to Fenway and Northeastern. About 10 min taxi ride to Fanueil Hall or Aquarium.

Plenty of food options within a block or 2. Cheesecake Factory, 5 Napkin Burger, California Pizza Kitchen, Cold Stone right across the street on street level. Food court with lots of quick options in Prudential Center across the street. Pizzeria Uno a block away.

7-11 a block away was very handy for water/snack stop.

We had heard that street rooms were noisy but did not find this to be the case. You can hear when emergency vehicles go by with their sirens during the night but it happened maybe twice. Not an inconvenience at all.

There is a charge for parking but we booked a Boston Escape package which included parking and breakfast for two.
