We booked the hotel 4 months in advance through booking.com and gave them a credit card to hold the room. The day we arrived, the hotel informed us they canceled our reservation because Visa didn't go through due to us getting a new card [due to Target security breach]. The hotel decided to wait until the day we arrived to call us while we were in flight and then when we arrived they informed us that they didn't have any more rooms. That is a very poor way to run a hotel and to treat guests.
