Being from Texas I was warned the Mississippi barbecue is not the same. True but I am not judging this by Texas standards.
We were greeted by very friendly staff who explained the offerings on the menu and recommended the nachos which we ordered. We also shared pulled pork and ribs.
Nachos were homemade multi colored tortilla chips with generous amounts of pulled pork, white cheese and BBQ sauce. The pork was tasty and moist. Cheese good. The chips were fine but again, we ate homemade tortilla chips in south Texas Mexican restaurants and there is no comparison.
Ribs were light on the meat and the flavor was a bit tangy - too much vinegar I think.
Pulled pork l was best part of the meal but not enough to warrant a special trip back.
