Stayed at the property for the second time and did not dissapoint! loved the free parking and proximity to downtown, Seaside Cliffs and restuarants... When we came early and the room was not ready Erica at the front desk helped us by holding our baggage while we went out. The room provided had a view of the pool and bridge. Great way to wake up and end the day! Breakfast was ok for $13.00 they had an omlette station. Did I mention parking was free?
Overall great experience will recommend to others!

I recently held a one day meeting for over 20 people with an overnight stay at this great facility. Attendees loved the location, their rooms, hotel restaurant food, and services provided. The front desk gave excellent recommendations to nearby restaurants for dinner the night before our meeting started. Chelsea and the Sales and Catering Staff were all very attentive and cordial, and even provided for a last minute birthday cake request complete with candles! We had one mix up with a sleeping room which had been mistakenly given to another guest not in our party. The hotel provided a free room at the hotel next door, as they were sold out. The AV service was efficient and of good quality. We used the meeting package for food which was very reasonable, however I had to add to the breakfast, as it did not have much. Perhaps 2 different packages would be better - a basic one, and upgraded package for more money. Definitely a great spot for future meeting!

Thank you so much for the great review! I am very pleased to hear that you and your attendees were well taken care of. You are definitely in good hand between Chelsea, our Front Desk, and our banquets team. I have taken your recommendations for the expanded breakfast menu to our Food and Beverage Manager. It’s definitely some food for thought! Thanks again and next time you’re planning your event, we hope you will consider coming back to stay with us!

Staff was friendly and attentive, rooms were clean and modern, property is very nicely maintained. This hotel is only minutes from the airport and about a 15 minute drive from the Gaslamp District. We will definitely stay here again when in San Diego.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a pool/water view.

My husband and i stayed at this hotel for my nephew's wedding. It was reasonably priced (the Sr. price was actually better than the wedding discount price), The room was clean, large, good Internet service, quiet and perfect for a one night stay. Some of the hotels in the area charged for parking but this one did not. The breakfast was okay, not great. We did grab a quick bite to eat in the pool cafe although the hours of operation (only open until 1 PM) was a bit short we thought but the sandwich and fruit cup were reasonably priced.

Room Tip: There were three floors, I would have preferred a lobby not a parking lot view.

I just want to start off by staying Stephanie was amazing. My husband and I live in Arizona and were planning an out of state wedding and were worried about where are guests were going to stay. I looked up the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Airport/Liberty Station on here and loved the reviews so we decided to book our wedding weekend here for ourselves and our guests. Stephanie helped us plan everything from the room rate, breakfast, to having our king suite room decorated the night of our wedding. If you are looking for an amazing, comfortable, and friendly place to stay this is it. My husband and I will be staying here in the future. Thanks Stephanie and Courtyard by Marriott for everything. Our wedding night couldn't have gone any better :).

I stayed here last month with a couple of friends. We were all attending a conference at nearby Point Loma Nazarene University. The hotel is very conveniently located to the airport. I think it was 5-10 minutes away. I have to say, our stay coincided with the one rain storm of the year (probably), so we didn't get a chance to check out the pool or other hotel grounds, but it looked lovely from the car. The hotel lobby was pleasant - what a nice touch to provide self serve options of cucumber or citrus water for guests to drink upon arrival, or just while walking through the hotel. Was slightly disappointed in the restaurant not being open as long as we would have liked for breakfast, but not a big issue. Perhaps it's because we are from Seattle, but it did seem like it was more difficult for our barista to understand and prepare our coffee drinks to order. I suppose, when I see a Starbucks sign (within the hotel or anywhere), I tend to expect a certain level of service. Again, not a huge deal, but would have been nice to have the coffee as ordered within a short period of time. She was pleasant enough, and did appear to be trying her best.

Also had a chance to try one of Bartender Jim's famous margaritas. Very tasty, indeed. Jim gave just the right amount of attention to us as we relaxed in the lounge - didn't hover, and didn't desert us.

One of us forgot our toothbrush, so it was nice to be reminded that the Marriott service includes an extra toothbrush or tube of toothpaste if you've left yours behind.

Overall, a pleasant stay. I would recommend this location (if you have a car, because not much is within walking distance), and would stay here, again.

Thank you for staying with us and for the comprehensive review. First of all, I’m happy to hear you were able to enjoy the hotel (albeit it’s a shame the weather didn’t cooperate) and that you had one of Jim’s margaritas! For our breakfast, we notice the crowd drop off after about 9:30am which is why we close at 10am. Knowing some arrive later, we keep our deli open, which it sounds like you made it over to. As far as the coffee service you experienced in the deli, I have addressed the training issue with our Food and Beverage Director. We wholeheartedly agree with your expectation and definitely fell short there. Should you be back down from Seattle though, we would love for you to give us another “shot”!
